Can't get it to work on my phone. What does it tell us, not more bad news I hope, probably saying we won't get our goal difference down to single figures, is it?
2-1 Villa. But also cements the fact of how simple the team talk needs to be: "Remember lads, do NOT give away any corners..."
EA have the worst player ratings ever for every sport they do. Its a good omen in anything. On the other hand. It is interesting to read about Aston Villa supposedly having to pay Sunderland a big lump of money if their striker Darren Bent plays three more games for them. It is starting to look like that is the reason he has been left out of their squad so often recently, although I don't think Villa boss Paul Lambert is too impressed by his attitude either. Bent has played under QPR boss Harry Redknapp before, at Tottenham, and he is the sort of player Redknapp would be happy to bring to Loftus Road in his current predicament. You would think Villa could use him too, though, because their big problem is a lack of goals. They did clinch a very important win over Reading on Tuesday but you look at their team and, apart from Christian Benteke, nobody looks like scoring. You can see what Lambert is doing, putting together a solid team with no stars in there. They are working hard, playing for him and proving difficult to play against. It's just the team are not performing for him. As for QPR's issues, where do you start. Redknapp will be happy with a point at Sunderland in his first game in charge but it will be interesting to see what he does as soon as the January transfer window opens and he can start recruiting. The personality of the players he signs will be as important as anything, then of course he has to try to win games. A lot of people are saying Harry will keep them up but, if he does, it will be his biggest managerial achievement. A win here would definitely help. Prediction: 2-1
Hmmmm, Lawrenson has us down for a 2-1 win on the bbc. Great Scott a 2-1 win and 2-1 loss, both predicted by abject prediction 'experts'. I'm no better so I'll go for a 4-1 to the mighty Superhoops.
Well according to this site http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php Villa are pretty thin on the ground with 8 players out. Only bettered by Wigan with 9. We have 3. ( Zamora, Johnson & Cesar. ) Villa this week, Wigan next. This must be a good omen.
Funnily enough, I was called Damien a lot because my friends were convinced I could make things happen with my mind.
