We would have almost certainly finished at least 5th had we not had to negotiate such a difficult schedule.

Were Arsenal liked from 1998-2005?

Are United liked? Bayern? Barca? Real Madrid? Even City?

The day to worry is when you aren't disliked. Chelsea were easily amongst the top 5 most disliked clubs in English Football way before Abramovich came along. And he's a multi billionaire, far richer than you or I could ever hope to be so is he really the tit? You don't come into that kind of money if you are stupid. People can say what they like about him but his club have won every trophy on show at least once since 2005 and go to Japan in December with the chance of being crowned World Champions. No, you don't if you're stupid, you can if you're a thief like him though, he started by stealing fuel from a company in the 80's, and then did it again in the early 90's, this time from the Government, got banged up for that one though. <ok>
 
Nice men don't get anywhere though notso. I have to say that I didn't know that about him. District seems to see his team and all involved with it through the proverbial rose coloured.

What a load of ol' crap. If AVB succeeds it will be because he is more suited to your way of playing than Chelsea's, and indeed many of your own supporters stated exactly that fact when he first joined you. You must all be ****ting yourselves now then because if he fails then you will look even more stupid than you feel we would.

Spot on DL, I can't wait to see Spurs do the same juggling act, but think it will be a very long time to wait <whistle>

RDM still took you downhill in the league....and was promising to do the same again....Roman doesnt wear blue tints so could see that the CL trophy was achieved by luck more than management.

RDM didn't take us downhill, circumstances did, imo he was doing a good job considering what he was up against, but RA was only looking for an excuse to get rid of him which he did as soon as poss.

If he succeeds it will be because he has the where with all and is given sufficient time to use it. Unlike the revolving doors at Chelsea.<ok>
