I don't think that there is anything wrong in telling the truth after all we're not kids are we? I think we all know that there's a strong possibility that he'll be off somewhere soon although we don't want it. I say well done AVB,keep telling us the truth.
That'd be a years supply of leeks and all the sheep you can shag....here's a pen, just sign on the dotted line!
They say a Welshman prays on his knees and on his neighbours so somebody please tell the Spanish that and they might bar him from entry. AVB made some mistakes with his mouth at Chelsea ie QPR's pitch being too closed in which was his excuse for losing and he moaned after the 3-1 defeat at O/T. He seems to have stopped all that rubbish now and he's concentrating on more serious comments. The more I see the name Andreas Villas-Boas in the press etc the more confident I'm becoming. He's looking and sounding more managerial and I don't think there's anything wrong in preparing a club's supporters for the worst with his comments about Bale etc. Keep going as you are AVB,you're gaining my respect.
Bloody Modric is at it again - trying to get GB to join him at RM. Why can't the little weasel just STFU?!!! Grrrrrrrr!!
Right I'm firmly back on the "Modric can **** off" side of things. It's so disrespectful to tap up his old teammates for his new club. Apparently AVB's now said our best players are not for sale, including Bale. Sounds like Levy had a word
http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/181675.html A little annoying, but he's only stating the obvious, we probably will struggle to keep him in the summer if we don't get CL, I'm under no illusions there.
IF I played football and IF I was a favourite and skillful player at a club and my future was under speculation I'd choose the youngsters in my team who are capable of playing in my position and teach them how to do the things which I do. I'd train them. What's wrong with that?
If he thought Bale was so great why was he trying to force a move to Chelsea? Even if it's mostly just saying what we already know there's no need for it. If he had any respect for his old club and fans he'd have dodged the questions or at least kept the answer very short instead of explaining why Bale could leave.
Reasonable points YV, but you haven't accounted for Modric being incredibly thick...he did after all sign a contract with no release clause.
Seriously, if you know anything about the way Real operate, this is all part of their rather unsubtle tapping up process. That being the case, I think we can assume that Real are definitely interested in him.
We'll have to get used this patter between the two clubs now there's this 'partnership' thing going on. Regardless of player waffle, the threat of Madrid taking him is hanging over us at a higher level than media speculation. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs/News/club-announcement-27082012.page
Okay, how about this one:- It's Sean the sheep! It's Sean the sheep! Tottenham bought him on the cheap. It's not beyond the pale For him to shag with Bale For he's a sheep, he's Sean the sheep! That's got quite a ring to it, don't you think?
