Give the poor lad a chance to Google him. Even Avram Grant was about 30 managers ago with the Russian's hit ratio...
That's your opinion Wats. I still hold the view he should have been kept. However, with regards who and what he is, this is for North: He was COLIN before he arrived. He was COLIN all the while he was with us. And he's still COLIN now.
For once I have to agree with our resident Orangeman*. We should have stuck with Warnock, he would have kept us up and we would have saved a minimum of £10 million. *here's the link you need: http://www.not606.com/forumdisplay.php/6-Rangers
Warnock is a man who cant let it go, he constantly talked about Palace when he was here. I think he only looks for our results hoping we loose as he seems very bitter for no reason, we would have been down for sure under him.
True, I wasn't at it - listened to it on World with that God-awful commentator who should be unmercifully put down. And I remember the chants of "Premier League, you're having a laugh"............................................. coming from our own fans! But Watford, you are being a tad condescending if I'm honest (OOPS, sounded like COLIN then!). I remember all too clearly how sh*t we were and how bad we'd gotten but my opinion was and still is, that he should have been allowed the January window. And I still think he would have scraped us up - like Hughes did although probably by beating the sh*t teams and losing to the good ones, not the other way around. Sorry you disagree but there's some of us (Ozzie being one of them) that felt he still would have kept us up.
Yes, well said Swords! He was the best Colin that QPR have ever seen - well since El Tel anyway! TF made a big mistake sacking him and bringing in Clueless - cost him a lot of money, and probably will a lot more with relegation, unless Harry performs another miracle of almost COLIN proportions. COLIN bitter about what happened in the end at QPR? He got every reason to be - but dare say he has moved on as we all have to. ComeOnURRRRR's.
Are we seriously arguing hypothesis?!! Save your keyboard for you. Here's how it'll pan out. Would've. Wouldn't. Would've. Wouldn't Yes he would. No he wouldn't. Course he would. Wouldn't. Would. Wouldn't. ****in' well would. Would not. Would. Not. Prove it. Um... See, you're ****ed ain't ya? No I'm not. Yes you are. No I ain't. Are. Ain't. You're a ****. No I ain't. Are. Ain't... recurring.
That abbreviation reminds me of a song meself and twins wrote:
Watford, Swords doesnt get to see many games. Everybody connected with the club knows we were going down under him. Him and Hughes deserved their sackings, no question.
Finglas, that's not the first time you've come out with that old chestnut "he doesn't get to many games so his opinion is invalid". Half this Board don't get to LR very often so does none of their opinions count? Or is it just the ones you happen to disagree with? Listen, I've had to write this nonsense about 5 times already but here we go again: With the way technology has advanced in the last number of years, one can watch or hear every single game, get highlights, match-reports etc etc etc etc etc etc. Of course this is not equivalent to being there in person, I'd never suggest otherwise. However, to say it invalidates your opinion is just begrudgery in my opinion. By that rationale, as Queens pointed out the other day, Gary Neville and all the other Sky Sports and BBC "experts" opinions of a match they've just watched in the studio are invalid because they weren't sat in the stands. I trust you've written to these Corporations and told them that their post-match analysis is null and void because their analysts weren't sat in between a pillar and a fat bloke in the Ellerslie Road Upper? I hope you weren't one of those having an opinion on the Euro's? You couldn't possibly have known what was going on because you didn't personally go to every England, Ireland and fu*king Ukraine match! Can't you see how absurd that sounds? Last season alone, half our games were on live TV. HALF! Add in the two games I went to and then put the remaining on QPR World Commentary and I think I'm entitled to an opinion thank you very much. You say "everybody connected with the Club". So that includes you of course but not Queens, Oslo, Peruvian, Wubba etc? Just as a matter of interest Finglas, were you at the MK Dons away Cup tie? But that was just a waste of five minutes of typing because frankly, I think you only came out with that because you don't agree with my view on COLIN's sacking! Honestly Fingi, I thought you were better than that mate. (Forgot to mention that the televised games last year came to half the season via Sky Sports, Setanta Sports and ESPN. In fact, the guys in Oz, USA, Spain etc get every single one of our games on live TV. If you can still discount those lads' views when they can watch every single match then you're out of touch with reality.)
I always respect your opinion on football Swords, just as long as you leave out all that "soccer" nonsense! Eejit
