I don't know you can be so confident seeing as the way you are playing. The last time you weren't playing very well Sunderland thrashed you. I'm not saying what will happen ,what I'm saying is that it could happen ok.

AFC Wimbledon could beat MK Dons in the FA Cup on Sunday. Anything can happen in football which is what makes it so great.

DL said that he doesn't think Chelsea will win until January so I'm not sure why he is disagreeing with you so much.

I'd forgotten we had Villa at home

DL is so confident of his own predictions that he started an article where he says even Pool will finish above us.

Its possible,as is anything in football..but DL seems convinced.

He has even managed to have a positive slant on teams like Newcastle who are struggling and has them finishing above us. Says everyone will maintain their form..and Spurs because of AVB will decline.

yet he along with the rest of the Chelsea fans have spent all week crying at RDM's fate who had proved to be absolute shaite in all reality, lucky but shaite. Now Rafa is at the helm and DL along with the rest do not want him..yet they will improve....We though will decline because of AVB...the same one that left them 4th and RDM helped them fall to 6th.

so basically nothing to do with football..all to do with personal feelings towards AVB......he really did finger your bunch didnt he? for that i will always back AVB <ok>

Chelsea were 5th when AVB left, I dont know where this myth that we were 4th comes from. 4th-7th will be very close this year IMO

The Chav's are desperate for AVB to fail, otherwise they will look stupid!!

It wouldn't look stupid, it was vindicated by winning the CL and FA Cup. AVB was the wrong fit at Chelsea, he might be the right fit at Spurs. Managers have failed at clubs before and gone on to do well elsewhere

As a Chelsea fan I'm sure you know about managers leaving/sacked then going on to be successful at other clubs....

ok 5th......try not to focus on just that point.

RDM still took you downhill in the league....and was promising to do the same again....Roman doesnt wear blue tints so could see that the CL trophy was achieved by luck more than management.

hard to debate with someone who has opinions like yours. Newcastle and Pool to finish above us as things stand? lol

I believe there is a lot of truth in that.

How damaging will it be to Mad Dog's pride if we finish above the Chavs again, this season, with the man that he sacked, and now being stuck with Coco? The shame will be almost unbearable for someone with his ego.

in the same fashion, Roy Rodgers is more like to get sacked should 'Pool finish below Swansea. if will prove the fact that Swansea are better off without Rodgers, and that they did so well last season in spite of Rodger, not because of him.

I think dear old Roman is doing a great job of making a huge tit out of himself, and his club the most disliked in English football, all by himself. But, I wouldn't be at all adverse to AVB Making him look even more of a ****er by being hugely successful with us.

An image that stayed with me was after the CL win, and RDM went up to Stalin and you could lip read him saying 'we won it', he was ecstatic, arms in the air, but the look on Stalins face was like he'd just heard a joke out of a Christmas cracker...for the 2nd time! For me Rafa built a side with Pool but could only take it so far. Inter got progressively worse under him, and I can only hope he does the same to the Chavlets.

A Chelsea season ticket holder that I know said that the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge for the Fulham game was the worst that he's ever experienced. He's been going for about 30 years.
You could literally hear the players talking to each other for big chunks of the game, apparently.

Difference in opinion creates healthy debate, if everybody had the same opinion it would be boring.

You claim RDM took us downhill in the league, well I'd like to ask you how many points you honestly think Spurs would have got from the following:

21/03 - Man City (Away)
24/03 - Chelsea (Home)
27/03 - Benfica (Away)

15/04 - Chelsea (Neutral Venue)
18/04 - Barcelona (Home)
21/04 - Arsenal (Away)
24/04 - Barcelona (Away)

Then QPR (Home), Newcastle (Home) and Liverpool (Away) within 6 days of each other. Bear in mind weakened teams were fielded against City, Arsenal, Liverpool and QPR but finished 5 points off 4th. We would have almost certainly finished at least 5th had we not had to negotiate such a difficult schedule.

If we were liked we would be doing something wrong.

Were Arsenal liked from 1998-2005?

Are United liked? Bayern? Barca? Real Madrid? Even City?

The day to worry is when you aren't disliked. Chelsea were easily amongst the top 5 most disliked clubs in English Football way before Abramovich came along. And he's a multi billionaire, far richer than you or I could ever hope to be so is he really the tit? You don't come into that kind of money if you are stupid. People can say what they like about him but his club have won every trophy on show at least once since 2005 and go to Japan in December with the chance of being crowned World Champions. I don't think he will ever come out the loser in this, equally nor will/should AVB.

I've been told by STH's that they'd never seen so many people trying to flog tickets on a matchday. Not touts, genuine fans that just didn't want to go. It sounded abysmal and many I know have said it's the worst game they've been to at the Bridge.

You make that kind of money by dishonestly manipulating an old drunk, then cutting deals with the powers that be to keep as much of it as you can.
Unfortunately, with that kind of money you can buy all the Yes men you want - terminal megalomania sets in, and you end up as self-deluded as poor old Roman appears to be now.

tots hit it on the head, they're desperate for AVB to fail but I'm not sure that he will.

Spot on TMT and tots, I said the same thing a few days ago, before RDM was sacked.<ok>

For months its been.. AVB this, AVB that.

The simple answer? He didn't get enough time, just like all the rest and they know it.- even more so since RDM got sacked and the reality has hit home.

It's total humiliation for them if he does well with us after all they've said!

I love you Diego thank you. So that's what it feels like. I can't help it if I talk football sense can I? If you have it you have it so I'll flaunt it. I'm not big headed but I've every right to be.
