No need to post any comments as this is covered elsewhere but i thought we should see how many people would like a change of goalie for the next game.
Boruc! and lets get behind him - if he gets the right support from the club and fans in order to get fit and get on the bus, we could have one of the worlds best on our hands
Ah, you should be envious of us. We don't have to make difficult goalkeeper choices as we only have one goalkeeper!
Boruc - we can`t afford to drop an average of one point per game (that`s over the last 4 games) due to howlers.
I'd like to say it was an embarrassment of riches, but that would be untrue though I do think Gazza will mature into a good keeper.
I couldn't see the option for me having a crack? Don't worry about my nerves...I won't have any as I am planning on getting bladdered before the match
People seem to be forgetting how many mistakes Boruc made, he came for nothing and was a prick. Stick with gazza changing the goalie will kill his confidence and confuse the defence.
Interesting that people are beginning to rally around Gazza after an initial surge for Boruc. SKD getting some votes too. This could go down to the wire folks!
Ok here's my one and only word on Gazza. When Nigel put him in I am sure he would have told him that he is getting 6-8 games to show his stuff. Having the pressure of one mistake and your out would be a terrible idea, hence why he held his nerve after Swansea. Nigel knew that he made a mistake yesterday as much as we all did (he also went on to say that it was not the only reason we did not win), so he has to decide if he wants to stick to that, or does he think that Gazza is not going to be up to it. What he does not want to do is change every game.
Do you think Nige will base his decision on this (like Strictly Come Dancing)? Would be an interesting way to do team selection, though controls would have to be in place to stop anyone with Pompey in their name from voting.
