Bad luck on Ruddy, but good that we´ve Bunn For although we do have Rudd D, I hate to think just what we would have done If he too picked up injury And three months or so, if that is the case With Ruddy, is a big, big blow, It probably is the one single place Where injuries can really show But then it´s the chance he´s been waiting for And last night he did nothing wrong, He could not do much about the Saint´s score And otherwise he looked real strong So we´re in good hands, I think we can say But please get out the cotton wool, And wrap him up well before we next play So that he can keep both hands full Another good point and much as we thought While listening in here from afar, The game was both close and also hard-fought To share the spoils was about par And our run goes on, unbeaten in eight And although we´ve not won away, I´m not that bothered if we have to wait A point away´s good any day. OTBC
I always thought that 2 points from the games at Everton and Saints would be 'satisfactory' (in the words of 'OFSTED!!), any more would be a bonus. Let's hope we get back to wining ways on Sun!!
absoltely over the moon with our form, well done Mr H, great summer signings , great team shape, sure we will have some bad days to come but we look solid, just wished that header had gone in for Holty last night, but great to see his anger at the miss! one win and a draw is all we need before xmas to get to half way house....bring on Sunderland! OTBC! IHWT!!!!!!!
dare i say it, Manager of the Month contender? 2 wins and 3 draws Sure Clarke or Mancini will get it (although WBA lost last night)
Great job RBF, as usual! Agree that CH deserves MotM Max (as long as the gong doesn't include the usual hoodoo!). I thought Bunn was assured and confident last night as he was against Spurs and his Everton cameo. What a brilliant move that looks like now!
I like the OFSTED reference.Mrs CT informs me that "satisfactory" now means "unsatisfactory".Who guards the guards? OFSTED seem to have re-written the English language.
Has to be Hughton doesn't it? I always thought Swansea would be too tough a nut for The Baggies to crack.
We've beat Newcastle away and WBA home then drew to Liverpool, Chelsea and Southampton. Could be either manager
