We need two up front, he's got to be desperate for a proper chance to show what he can do and he's ex-Ipswich. QED Martin. It's a no-brainer...
Gotta be 2 up.... Saha for 60 mins with Campbell coming on for the last 30 when legs are leggy for me... Seen nowt from Wickham to suggest he would work well with Fletcher but an appearance from the bench wouldn't be a great deal worse than our current formation. Sessegnon fails to justify the formation we are playing. We need to find a place for Sessegnon and for the time being I'd play him and Johnson interchanging on the wings as he isn't doing anything to justify his free role off the striker. Gotta start playing 2 up top.
Our lads all have some good ideas of formations and selections but Marty keeps doing it the same way, he really needs to change personnel and formations, or suffer the consequences, i think people would be behind him more if they could see that he was trying alternatives ,anything to try and win.
two up top doesnt work! just look at newcastle for example ba and cisse! two very decent strikers no?? 442 is a thing of the past lads.....
were not playing that tho are we? bar sess nobody seemed able or wiling to attack, but tbh and im not having a go cause he's been one of our best players this season! fletcher was dropping to deep he needs to be on the shoulder of the last deffender! i seen about 3/4 times he had dropped deep and the ball was whipped in brilliantly, he would have lapped it up... its like what bendtner was doing, and it doesnt help imo..
I'm bumping this because I'm dead wrong 9 times out of 10, but this was not too shabby a point, for once! Watch out for them low-flying pigs...
but it still wasnt 2 up front we had to take fletcher off so he took his place so it was still 4-4-1-1, but i said and got slated the other day we should drop Fletcher we take him off and we probably play the best football we have all season, problem is we couldnt score, if we could play like that with him in the side then...... but for some reason we cant.
Aye, but I'd like to see more of Connor. He seems self-confident to me and we know he has talent. If he can play with Fletch in a two-up front formation then I think we'd have a strike force that could become one of the better ones in the Prem. They'll still need service, which is the big issue MON faces in the transfer window.
