Because united don't play with quality, unless you consider hoofing it up to the striker as an artform?

They're 12 points above us, and at the top of the league, not bad for a team that doesn't play with quality, as Wenger told Villas Boas, if having no quality puts you at the top of the league, 12 points above the team with supposed quality and ambition, then it's good to have no quality.

I don't blame him - the table shows the fact.

Personally I don't think we will make top 4 this year. We r too inconsistent.

The Arsenal fan in me will always think RVP's a ****, but the none biased side of me will see the facts, that he was a world class player, who wanted to be a in top quality side that matched his quality and ambitions, something Arsenal cannot do, and something Manunited can. RVP from his personal stand point as a professional player, was completely right in his decision, and inside he will be smiling about it saying I told you so.

Wenger and Gazidis, as usual, were full of **** when negotiating with RVP telling him a load of rubbish of how we're a team with ambition and were going to be better than last season, LOL, all they do is talk talk and talk.

Heck if you're a world class player, and you look at Wenger, who comes out satisfied with a draw tonight, then why would you want to stay at a club like Arsenal? The manager obviously doesn't have a high ambition, so it's time to move on to a team that doesn't get satisfied with dropping points after points, 1 win in 5, and Wenger's satisfied with more dropped points. lol.

Do you 2 fancy forming some kind of negativity based cult?

Fact is we're 7th, but still in simple range for 4th

Fact is we have better players than the teams around us

Fact is we have a better manager than the teams around us

Fact is we have an easier schedule than the teams around us

Fact is we have more money than the teams around us

Fact is we're a more enticing proposition for signings than the teams around us.

There, needed to get that out of the way. I'm glad Benitez is back, reminded me of "Facts"

Today's result/performance is an accurate reflection of where we are...and probably will be in the near future. We are not part of the elite teams...even though the overall quality of the league has dipped.

As for those who have left...most sportsmen are addicted to success... the money takes care of itself. While many of our fans are happy to settle for having a eurodite manager who will ensure we never drop below average...world class sportsmen do not have to make such compromises...they crave the ego boost of glory and the money that comes with it...it's natural.

We should be happy that we will never below average... have occasional flourishes of scintillating football but overall not quite the finished article. What is indefensible is the fact that despite the obvious lack of elite status the owners still charge elite prices. Howeve , if mediocrity does set in permanently then empty seats will no doubt start to become more and more visible.

Fact is we have 1 win in 5

Fact is our form isn't good enough

Fact is simply fighting for 4th spot isn't good enough

The fact you mention fighting for 4th spot as the highest possible ambition for us, PROVES MY POINTS that RVP was right to leave us as we're not a club that can match his big ambitions, LOL, nice one, thanks.

We make more money than the teams around us? LOL, when you have to start talking about money, that shows how you've lost the plot. So are we economists now? Or more worried about what happens on the field? If you want to be an econimist, go watch bloomberg channel or invest in a company you silly ****.

    Fact: We're undefeated in 6
Fact: Our form is at least consistent
Fact: No, 4th isn't good enough, which leads me to
Fact: We use money to buy a valuable commodity called "players", unless you think they grow on trees or stripper poles. Thats why money is good. We can afford signings/trees/stripper poles, Spurs, WBA and Everton can't.

Ummm the way things are going, and unless there's a turn around, we will be below average, the way we're performing right now, with the results, is below average. 1 win in 5, what would you class that as, above average? We haven't been able to string back to back wins in the league since start of September, that should worry EVERYBODY, unless we drastically improve in the next games, we will be in big big trouble.

Ah, i see you haven't taken a hint on being banned twice so far. We don't play balls up to Giroud, i don't know who you've been watching, but we certainly don't do that.

undefeated in 6? not in the league we're not. being undefeated means **** all if you're not making something out of it, simply drawing so many games and losing ground, sitting in 7th, and being undefeated isn't something to be proud of, but shows how your grasping at straws, lol, you can be happy with ur 6 game undefeated streak while we lie 7th in the table.

our form is consistent? yeah ok, pass me what you're smoking. if you mean consistent at dropping points, then I agree, but I don't think you meant that.

As for spending money on good players, yeah, come to me when that actually happens.

no point in arguing, here are enough facts for you:

-1 win in 5 league games

-our worst start to a league season in ages, even worst than last year

    -sitting 7th in the league

These are the FACTS, you keep your blind deluded optimism for yourself, and let me keep the actual ground realities, I think that's fair enough. You stay on the weed and crystal meth that makes everything seem so lovely and nice, and I'll stay clean.

I never said we won't finish 4th, but it's so funny, you think getting 4th spot is somehow something to be proud off? As if it's some grand achievement? Funny, keep proving how far regressed the ambitions of this club have gone, and why RVP was correct to leave us for a bigger and better team with ambition.

When the 3 teams above us are Oil rich Chelsea, Sheikh rich Citeh, and FA rich ManUre, yes, i consider 4th to be a decent result. We're in the CL places, with an inferior squad.

Seriously, as I have said in the past if you two can't argue without abusing each other, then there really is no point, because whatever points both of you make, it just looks childish when the insults are thrown in and the points get lost in the middle of the insults.

Ill say it right now, and you can quote me, even if we get 4th spot, it still wouldn't be good enough, all it would prove is that once again this club has small ambitions, not lofty ambitions of a major elite club. Major elite clubs aim for trophies or being as close as possible. Even if we get THIRD, but are like 15+ points behind the top 2 teams, THAT TOO wouldn't be good enough, and shows that we're not an elite club, or have made ANY progression.

Go ahead, quote all of that.

Now if we can end this season 5 points behind the leaders, then I'll say you were right, and I was wrong, and that Arsenal have shown ambition and made great progress.
