If only it were that easy mate. TBH..........even though I feel all the positivity that Harry's arrival has brought, I can't help feeling that we're too far back to get out. Hope to **** I'm wrong!
its novemeber and were looking at other results already. i dont think i can do this till may... I think we should take it one step at a time and looking no further than new year and see how we are doing then.. Villa is a MUST WIN then we can start dreaming ..
Makes sense mate. Looking till the end of the year, I reckon that a total of 14 points would keep us in touch. That's 3 wins, which is tough. I'd probably settle for 2 wins and 2 draws to give us 13 points. That's an absolute minimum imo. (Someone said that we had 16 points at the turn of the year last season, so that would give me hope!).
Never liked the sound of them must win games; never seems to work out like that. Prefer should wins anyday.
Southampton managed to get 7 points from 9 in their last 3 games making their position look savable. Norwich had 3 points from first 7 games, then suddenly (after 2-5 and 1-4 defeats) managed to win their first game and have been unbeaten since in 7 games. Form can change quickly and a win can do wonders. We have a reason now for our form to change in Harry and Joe. Easier said than done maybe but we can get out of this.
