I imagine if you had to pay that amount of money every home game to watch a slowly deteriorating quality of football Hull's attendances would start falling too.

Hi Kissa - I went last night and paid sixty bloody eight quid for the privilege - I took my Man City supporting good luck charm mate, in the previous five games I'd taken him he hadn't seen us lose - We went in the Palace pub first then the Lamb - **** me I stared into my pint while we were in that pub, I didn't want to make eye contact with anyone <yikes>

I reckon we will also be looking for someone who can hit the back of the net in January ...

oo for a top goal scorer ..

On saying we need another goalscorer. If we look on the other side of it. David Nugent is one of the top scorers in the league. We have the best goal difference in the league. We are joint 6th highest scorers aswell

I personal would like Nigel to get someone in on Jan but i dont think he will

For me that is one of the problems Proud .... Nugent has never been a prolific poaching goalscorer ... he still isn't ... he's scored so many as he has purely because we have been creating loads and loads (his conversion rate is probably 1 in 5 or 6 ... Charlie Austin now has 21 goals .... imagine what a Cottee or Lineker would have done with the amount of chances we are creating ... Nugent has proven his worth to the team this season .. but we stil need a 'hit-man'....

Nigel isn't the kind of manager to blow money on trying to capture someone like Austin.

Its much more likely that we will try and find a striker from a Prem youth/reserve team (probably Man U) that wont ever make it into the starting 11, and this is not likely to be a 20+ player.

It might be worth having a punt at someone like Sharp, who isn't needed at Southampton by the looks, but is he too similar to Nugent? and also, if another striker is bought in, we will need to start shifting some as well, for me, Vardy and Futacs havn't had enough time and Waghorns had too much time.

How long is Sharp on loan at Forest for? Is it a season? Mind you, even if it's not, I can well see him ending up there in some respect anyways.

What about Ricardo Vaz Te? Something a bit different? Don't think he's getting a game at West Ham anymore... Helped them to promotion last season...

    Sharp is for the season

And Vaz Te is not a type of player Nigel would want

I would assume that if they could sell Sharp, and if they wanted to, they would cut the loan short, a-la Drinkwater.

It all depends on the terms of the loan deal
