Good Morning Saints, Just wanted to pop on and say good luck for this evening (although I hope you do not win). I think you guys have been unlucky with some of your results this season, and glad to see that things are now coming together. Really liking the look of your attacking boys (Lambert, Puncheon, Ramires and Lallanna), they really looked up for it against Newcastle. I hope we can contain them! Would love to get Rickie at Norwich and reunite him and Grant in attack, can you see him ever leaving? Not trying to WUM (never posted on another teams board before), genuinely hope you guys stay up this year. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Nope, Rickie will (and wants to) see out his career here We had a tough start, playing most of the top 8 in our first 10 games, a pretty killer schedule but we seem to have turned a corner which is good! Wishing you the best of the luck for the season (except tonight and at Carrow Road whenever that is!!!!!!!!!)
It's pretty hard to see Lambert leaving, he is an important player for us and seems happy and settled here.
as in i dont reckon it'd work in the premier league. But who knows! Just not many teams with two classic centre forwards in thh starting 11
It would be good to see them have a go together though. 59 goals in two seasons together at Rochdale isn't bad. Maybe the next England Strike duo.... i'll get my coat!
When Lambo worked with Holt it was as a midfielder (which explains how he has such a good all round game). He has already said that he hopes to finish his career with us and I think he will because of his age. If he was 25, I'm sure we would be fighting off the big guns.
Not a "classic" game last night, but I think a fair result. We need to start taking our chances and putting the ball away, or we will start to struggle. Hope you guys continue your form and move up the table. Here's to a safe season and look forward to the next game!
