That is a better bet especially as for long stretches there is no footpath and the cars drive at a hell of a lick down Stoneham Lane. My one concern is that all the noise and happiness eminating from Silverlake doesn't upset the lonely Pompey players just across the road at their training ground (unless of course they have moved by then). I think the Saints women's team train and play in Stoneham Lane. I've seen them when my dog has been taking me for a walk..
Eastleigh have got a pretty decent kids set up. The under nines play on the pitches at Flemming Park before I do on a Tuesday and they are miles ahead us lot of chancers and showboaters. Eastleigh have been extremely professional in their approach to developing kids and this is yet another step down the road or Cortese's Barcelona step up (linking in the whole local community to a united identity). Sounds great and we should all be behind this in support
I did drive down there a few months ago and round one of the bends there was a car on it's roof and a bunch of teenagers looking sheepish.
