Moyes was very insightful, when asked if he can supply any injury updates, he replied "no". He did say it'll be a similar starting XI to the weekend suggesting that maybe a couple of injured players coming back onto the bench.
Rosicky back in training!!!!! Wooooooooo!!! We need him and Diaby back to mix it up a bit in the middle. We have exceptional midfield talent - we just need them all available at once so we can rotate them properly and avoid injuries/tiredness! Looking forward to this game, i usually enjoy the Everton games. @Bonstar - please stop going on about how we only beat the spuds 5-2 because ade was sent off - its getting really dull. He was sent off so early in the game that you cannot possibly know what would of happened with him on the pitch. He was a ****ing idiot and got himself sent off - that doesn't mean we didn't play well. Yes, in the few minutes of the game that Ade was on the pitch spurs looked better - but he wasn't on the pitch long enough to say with any degree of certainty how spurs where going to play throughout the game with him on the pitch. They started well against us in our other 5-2 win as well, they didn't get a man sent off but still got owned. So please, stop this rubbish. Beating spurs 5-2 was a really positive resuklt and your desperate to give it a negative edge - stop it!
I know you guys are trying to sort out the contract situations for Theo and Jack but whats all this about reports saying that Jack will be made captain.
Probably some incentive. 'Sign this long contract, and you will be made captain in a few years'. Once Vermaelen moves on, I suspect Jack is next in line for captaincy.
Probably a couple of years. At the moment, if he was not captain, I am not sure he would even get in the team.
I just hope we keep our great 5 game unbeaten run going. If we keep playing this well , we should be fine.
He will be a miss if he's out but he'll be more of a help against City at the weekend than Arsenal if its a case of playing one of the two.
the referee for the match is Michael Oliver. Everton's record under Oliver: Played 7 Won 4 Draw 2 Loss 1 (on penalty shoot out) Last result was 3-1 victory over Aston Villa in August 2012 Arsenal's record under Oliver: Played 4 Won 1 Draw 0 Loss 3 Last result was 3-2 defeat to Swansea in January 2012
