Some people will like to listen to the actual interview in English..there is nothing to argue about here. It's simple

What?! So people will choose to hear him speak in a language they don't understand, rather than hear it translated? And I suppose when they're watching it on TV, and the program has a translator as they always do, viewers will have the option to mute that translator? It doesn't sound very simple to me.

No need to take this seriously, it's Joey Barton, let's just laugh at him.

If you do, let me know what your character's called, then I'll come and find you (and hunt you down, depending on your faction :p)

As for Joey Barton, even if I was fluent in French, I think I'd prefer to get a translation as then you don't have to think so much. Then again, maybe if I was fluent it wouldn't be hard work, but a lot of people wouldn't be. Talking of languages, entered a competition on Twitter to win a language from Rosetta Stone, hope I win so I can learn Arabic. Or Japanese, that would be cool, being able to watch anime in it's native language.

I hear Arabic is really difficult to learn. My Dad (who is already fluent in Spanish, and pretty good at French) was trying to learn it and gave up. It's damn good for your CV if you can manage it though.

In Adkins' interview on Saints player (not the press conference) who's the black guy training at 3:24?

I knew it would be someone obvious. I went through all the U21 and Academy profiles trying to find him! How very silly of me.

I must admit, my first thought when I saw the player was that another one of the academy had joined the first team squad in training. And then I realised it was Mayuka.
For my money, you've got a decent excuse there. Let's face it, he's never on the pitch for more than 10-15 minutes or so, even if he plays at all. :)
Good player, no doubt, but let's not change what we have at the moment, eh..?

If only some of the Saints fans on Twitter saw it the same way - the like clamouring for Nigel's head every time Sharp scores for Forest.

Much as I like Billy Sharp, he is not a PL striker. He's a Championship player just as I know Dean Hammond is too, even though I'd love to see Deano play in the PL just a few times*

His character has now lost his brother and his son! I can't wait to see how they write this in. I presume they'll keep making episodes as long as people are watching.
