Left out again for Villa, could be the goalscorer we are looking for. Also heard villa were looking at Graham in the summer so could use him as a makeweight
I honestly think Laudrup will be happy to ignore the British market for the spanish one. Michu for £2m quid and Bent for £20 m quid! The guys wages would be too high as well, i think laudrup knows he can get better value for money elsewhere and players that are hungry to do well, bent strikes me as a bit of a sulker and we dont need that in our team IMO. Football is a funny old game though !
I am sure QPR have been linked with him already. Journeyman striker. Was a very good one a few seasons ago. How many clubs has he had.
Bent is a goalscorer period! As such, he will be in demand but agree that his wages would be too much for us. At the right club he will be prolific again but he is the sort of striker that does need good and regular service into the box. If we can do that we might as well keep Danny who would also thrive in the same way.
He puts a massive strain on the rest of the team with his laziness. May score a goal a game, but will not hold anything up, not make the runs and just be utter tripe - thus gifting the opposition 3 chances or so. Not for me, waste of money.
