Wednesday night sees us play one of our most difficult matches of the season with an in form WBA in town. The Albion have picked up the majority of their points at The Hawthorns so hopefully the Swans can plunder three points. It will be great to go to an evening match again!
They are having hell of a season in all fairness, I always fancy us to win at home though so I'm going for a 2-1 win
This is going to be a good test of where we are. A surprise on the season, they are well coached and execute well. You have to figure that the they are going to come in like Everton and give us a very tough time of it.
Bastards! I had a fiver on 2-3 and they score a fourth with the last kick of the game. I hope we smash them now!!
this becomes the most important game of the season now and we had better be ready for them, they have been so impressive so far that we wont face anyone tougher at home this season.....this game in not one that i can predict a home win with ease as there is no doubt that they are better than us so far but that dont mean we cant win if things go our way. but because of the way wba are playing and i will predict with my head and not my heart i must go with another draw game at best...
Got to agree with you there Dai. However if we play like we did today we will lose. Then again, not many would have seen us upseting Newcastle last week, so we are capable of winning.
They looka different prospect to the team we did the double over last season. The away win, in particular, was a great win for us. Gylfi was awesome for us that day in the snow. Well i hope this time Mr Long can have an off-day the way he did in the Play-Off final for Reading. All in all will be a difficult task but it will be a great game to watch I think, (just dissapointed it's one of the few games not being shown on Sky here in NZ on Thursday morning!!grrrrr!!!!) But I'll go with a 2-1 win with Ki and Pablo to score.
if we win this it will be a gr8 result. obviously wba are on fire atm, swans slight favs with wm hill, be interesting to see what side ML puts out compared to the liverpool match
To be fair they have been on fire this season. We always seem to play teams who are on a high point. This is much more difficult game than Sundays IMO. But, if we can win this will send a big message out to the rest of the league.
Wba are due a loss just going on law of averages so if we can sort out where michu plays we may just beat them. I dont like michu playing striker as he is less effective there, he is better running on to the ball in the No10 position, I would rather play luke moore as the main striker and routledge and pablo on the other wing. Ki and britton in the middle and davies, williams, chico and rangel at the back and tremmell in goal....
I think this game will be far easier than the Liverpool game, and i fancy us for the 3pts as well. WBA have been fantastic this season but they have also had the rub of the green as well. I watched the Sunderland game and it was a lot closer game than people think. All games are hard in this league but with an electric evening atmosphere and the jack army in full voice i expect us to do the job. 3pts is essential tomorrow if we dont get them then it shows our home form to be patchy and that is not for prem survival
WBA will be full of confidence going into this game but we do have enough quality to win tomorrow, they haven't really played against a team like ours of late and did look quite vulnerable at times at Sunderland despite the scoreline. Expect us to create chances, just a question of whether we make the most of them whilst keeping it tight at the back. Have a feeling JDG won't be starting as he looked injured coming off on Sunday, could be a midfield of Ki, Leon and Michu with either Schekter, Moore or Lita upfront. Hope Nathan gets to play right wing with Pablo having a free role to wander which he did so effectively against the Reds.
Don't mind if JdG is out because his form is pretty up and down. If it means that Michu reverts to midfield, his best and preferred position, all well and good. I'd like to see Danny get another run if he's fit (he did assist in the winner at Toon), if not then Moore. For me, Schecter blew his chance last time out. I hope Dyer starts because he deserves it, with Routs coming on when either he or Pablo runs out of gas. It will be a hard game but, if we can win it, we will be in a really healthy position in the table with all the confidence which that brings. Hard fought 2-1 for me but we will have to battle for it. If we don't, we'll get nowt.
