Lot of noise coming from the media about Celtics league performances after European games and claiming that much of the poor performance is down to the absence of SEVCO from the SPL. Few points here 1. This time last year we were 15 Pts or so behind and rfc were in the league, so doubt that their absence scan account for the performances this season. 2. If SEVCO were in the league it is arguable that our European results would be poorer and we may not even have qualified for the group stage. This year Celtic can be fairly confident that they can relax a little in the SPL and produce performances in Europe. The lack of competition could actually have helped us in the CL. PS what is it with all these it posters on Clyde every evening.
don't waste your time with clyde. utter utter pish i agree that them being in the league would have no impact on what is happening at present. however, there would be calls for lennon to go if we were again 10 plus points behind them at this time of year
Don't talk about if Sevco were in the league. According to reports all the other Chairmen voted no, except Kilmarnock, who voted about half way. So the only game that could be in the league are either 5 aside or 45 minutes Sevco v Killie. No records there I think.
