From Mail Online """"""""""""""" Mark Hughes' trusted aides Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki are poised to follow the axed manager out of Queens Park Rangers. The coaching duo have not made the trip to the Stadium of Light for Harry Redknappâs first match as new Rangers boss against Sunderland. The QPR hierarchy had explored the notion of keeping either Bowen or Niedzwiecki on the books to be part of Redknappâs new backroom team. please log in to view this image Axe: Bowen (right) and Hitchcock (centre) took charge at Old Trafford But it is now looking increasingly likely that the pair will follow Hughes out of the west London club. Officially, Bowen and Niedzwiecki remain employed by QPR - and still appear on the clubâs website. Bowen is listed as assistant manager while Niedzwiecki appears under the title of first-team coach. However, the duoâs representatives remain in dialogue with Rangers with regards to severance packages. please log in to view this image Struggling: QPR are rock-bottom of the Premier League But once those formalities are finalised, Bowen and Niedzwiecki will officially be replaced by Redknappâs lieutenants Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan. Likewise, current goalkeeping coach Kevin Hitchcock - another Hughes man - is expected to be replaced by David Coles. Bond and Jordan have already assisted Redknapp in a training session at QPRâs Harlington HQ and are expected to be at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday night. please log in to view this image Fresh ideas: Redknapp takes charge for the first time on Tuesday night However, uncertainty remains over other members of Hughesâ backroom team as Redknapp decides whether to keep any of them on. Fitness coach Carl Serrant, who played for Newcastle and Oldham, came to the club during Neil Warnockâs reign but was kept on by Hughes after impressing the Welshman with his training methods. Similarly, head physio Nigel Cox, who also arrived under Warnock, is another who could be left in limbo by Redknappâs arrival. """"""""""""""""""""""
Good, they were in charge of the coaching and it was easy to see our attacking set pieces were poor and the defensive ones were abysmal. Set pieces are the most obvious product of the coaching and it was nowhere near good enough.
