    ...and back to the Football... I wish I could say this will be the moment when the tides turn, the watershed moment in our season, Pardew getting it tactically spot-on, motivating and moulding a mix of first team and reserve players into a fluent and devastatingly effective unit, where we show our true worth (and score from a set-piece!!).

    But, I suspect we'll get tonked 3-0.

    I hope I'm wrong.

    We will get nothing away to this lot. Only conceded 1 goal at home all season and we can't create **** all. Only one winner in it. It's the Wigan game at home the following Monday that I'm worried about because if we don't win that there will be absolute hell on.

    Oh damn. And here's me hoping I was going to get my tan topped up.

    I'll be happy just to get there on time, last season the coach driver couldn't find the stadium and we eventually got a police escort to get us there on time. Whatever happened to Sat nav's?
