I am hoping this is from today, not ancient history, because it would mean he's nowhere near the squad for Sunderland. Fair play for them doing some community stuff though.
Nice that he is taking a day out of his busy schedule to visit the kids. Makes a change from making the tea and playing Fifa I suppose.
I know someone that works closely with the club and apparently SWP does a lot of charity work in his spare time which I think is good. Although the way he has played since we signed him you would have thought he was skipping training to fit it all in! Nedum Onouha is also known to lend a lot of his time to charities. Forgetting about what people (football fans and non football fans) think about pro footballers in terms of attitude, money, education and all that stuff it seems one thing that doesn't get talked about enough is the good work a lot of them do off the pitch.
