Still have to laugh at certain Ferrari fans still thinking Seb broke any rules overtaking a HRT before the yellow flagged zone Sometimes it just proves REAL! fanboys have no clue about the actual rules of F1. I was a race marshal for around a year and I can laugh at everything what McNish said on Sky because is was ****e and a complete and utter BS on his side trying to make a story of this.
Since I cant post on Autosport I would just LOVE! to clear this up who still think Seb broke a rule: Looks like he overtook a slowing Toro Rosso under yellow flags no? please log in to view this image Wrong *dusts hands* please log in to view this image
And this just came off the presses: please log in to view this image Now that's why the dashboard can go **** itself lol. Marshals > Fanboys. I know my ****!
Great video on YouTube, showing that: The overtake on the HRT was LEGAL Sky Sports and Allan McNish were wrong - the overtake on Kobayashi was LEGAL A third overtake on a Toro Rosso was actually ILLEGAL!! That was lap 3 when he overtook a Marussia - nothing wrong with that: please log in to view this image But his overtake on the Toro Rosso later on was illegal, as the video above proves.
Jose Luis says that Ferrari have until 30th November to make a claim for 'exceptional circumstances'. If they were to do so and Vettel got a 20 second time penalty, the race result would be: 6. Schumacher +00:11.907 7. Vergne +00:28.653 8. Vettel +00:29.453 and the championship: Alonso - 278 Vettel - 277
Not sure about the credibility of Carlos Miquel, but according to him: http://www.formula1motor.com/2012/1...o-que-vettel-adelanto-con-banderas-amarillas/
Just this Forza, just this. And this: http://i.minus.com/ifCeF4LzTDLqY.gif See the green flag? That is the marshal post telling him the track is clear. please log in to view this image The sensor on his dashboard picks up the lights, not the actual flags themselves. Marshals > Light system > Dashboard. The overtake is very! legal. Now please tell your scuderia friends to shut the **** up and get over it!
Ferrari's win at all costs attitude again coming to the fore if they do protest. However, they could/should have protested during the race if they thought it was an issue. Is just now sour grapes and will make them look pathetic if they do try and settle this after the weekend. But, as the race results have been declared, and the incident took place early in the race (I think), all the FIA can do is give a 5 grid penalty for the next race as they cannot add time to a race result unless an incident happens in the last few laps, so that a drive-thru penalty could not be given. End of.
