    ONCE AGAIN A QUICK CUT AND PASTE AS ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE A MATCH THREAD> IF ANYONE IS IN THE PROCESS OF DOING ONE THEN PUT IT UP STILL AND WE CAN ALL JUMP TO THAT THREAD> ENJOY THE GAME;

    Sheffield Wednesday v Watford

Sheffield Wednesday striker Chris O'Grady could figure on Tuesday after the forward returned to training after recovering from a foot injury.

Midfielder Chris Lines is fit again after a groin injury that kept him out for three months.

Watford are suffering from an injury crisis and will be without midfielders Ikechi Anya (hamstring), Almen Abdi (shoulder) and John Eustace (back).

However, defender Fitz Hall is fit again and could return to the team.

    MATCH FACTS
    Head-to-head

    • Sheffield Wednesday hold a 50% win record, in home league matches against Watford; nine of 18.

    • The Owls' only victories in 10 league meetings over the last decade, were in the two most recent clashes at Hillsborough; 2-0 in September 2008, and 2-1 in March 2010 - both in the Championship.

    • Jobi McAnuff scored the only goal in Watford's sole victory from their last seven visits to Sheffield Wednesday, in December 2007.

    Sheffield Wednesday

    • Third-bottom Wednesday are on the longest current losing streak in the Championship of four games, and have only claimed two wins in 16 league and cup matches.

    • All but one of their four victories have been against bottom-six clubs.

    • Should Watford score twice, it would take the total of home league goals the Owls have conceded in their history to 2,500.

    Watford

    • The Hornets are hoping to end November unbeaten (W3, D2).

    • They have scored nine more goals on their travels than at Vicarage Road this season, which is the widest such dichotomy in the Championship.

    • Troy Deeney could make his 150th career league start.

I have a feeling we'll lose this one, simply because Sheff Wed's losing streak has to come to an end at some point, as does our unbeaten run.

And with that said we're now guarenteed to go out and win 5-0, no need to thank me... ;)

Hillsborough is not a good place for Watford. We have lost 11 matches of 22 there and won only six. Sheffield Wednesday have 38 goals and Watford 26.

Playing Wednesday on a Tuesday suggests we'd be wise not to get ahead of ourselves. Draw anyone?

Last season I would have been looking at this game as one not to lose to a fellow team in the relegation zone, almost a six pointer. But now my expectation is at least a draw and hoping for a win. At the back of my mind there is even a little bit of me expecting a win. Such is how far we seem to have come already this season.

I'm heading up there with at least 300 other Hornet fans, so obviously there's no doubt in my mind that on a cold, wet and miserable Tuesday night, we deserve to cheer something. Therefore there's not a shred of doubt that we will win....hmm, let me see, maybe....1-3? ;)

Though Zola said he's going to bring in some new faces, which could mean anything, i have a feeling that McGinn might play a part tonight, which would be rather fab :). Onwards and only upwards!

Could anything also include Bond in goal? That would be completely unexpected but I agree with you about McGinn.

007 would play with a knock judging by his performance in Skyfall. I hope the sky falls in on the Owls tonight and that you, for one Hornette, come home safe and happy...

Got to win this if we want to make that push for the play offs. Sheff Wed are religation candidates. We (for once) are deffo not.

Maybe M taylor will give us a bit of generosity too, http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20339696 and be surprised at the way we play.

Ai Nick. However, teams that will be in the play offs / promotion charge, should put these games against the lower teams to bed.

The loan players have had to adjust to the pace and physicality of the Championship and to the way our officials interpret the rules. They have started to do that, but now comes the new challenge of playing in the English winter weather, and the crazy frequency of games in the Championship. It will be a bit much to expect consistency too soon. The players are talented, but most have no experience of a full season of competitive Championship football--neither has Zola for that matter. I think we might take a step backwards before we start to move forwards again. It will be useful to have Hogg back, but we will miss Abdi and Doyley. Take nothing for granted.

Sorry to you too Mr Mexico hadnt realised its already known whos promoted or in play offs or I wouldnt have written summat so daft.(Only thing is,if you take a little look at the actual table you'll find that the 'Orns are a whole 7 points better off than the team in 19th [thats NINETEENTH] place). I think we missed Hogg in the second half Saturday. He would have been more of a physical presence in mid-field and we might have broken up more of their attacks.
