Anderson is starting the game. About freaking time he was given a run in the team.

Glad about that. He deserves it for his performances this year.

Passing around players is all very well but when they are solid defensively and closing down you need someone in the middle who can take men on and beat them. Only Anderson does that in the middle. Not to mention a couple of his defence splitting hollywood passes have paid off, both for Hernandez I think.

It's worse for the United haters. Think of the number of times they've had their hopes built up this season. I reckon it's what finally sent KPR over the edge into permanent insanity.

Was thinking that after to the QPR game how often have the haters this year got excited because we are losing only to be disappointed when we turn it into a victory.

Would have thought you would want us to beat one of your league rivals? :)

Last Time West Ham won at OT was when the striker who scored the only goal had recently ended an ongoing goal drought in a defeat against Tottenham not too long before.
Don't worry about us scoring first, 10 men in our box, if we do score you will have to do it for us....

I won't lie, I quite like Man Utd.

Heart says we can battle for a draw, head says big defeat.

I would be quite content with not getting tonked if I'm honest.

    3-0.

The way we're defending at the moment I wouldn't put it past us...

Doubt you'll get hammered - Allardyce is too canny to play openly against us and we're lacking a bit of spark at the moment so struggling to break down packed defences. I reckon we'll probably win, but maybe by the odd goal or two.

Didn't you beat his Blackburn side about 7-0 in one of his final matches in charge of them though?

Good to see Anderson get a start. I know Fergie said he's played himself into the team on his last performance but Scholes is suspended, so I can't help but feel this has one of the reasons. Fergie doesn't seem to trust Ando that much nowadays despite some impressive performances.

Speaking of impressive performances (or lack of) I'd like to see Rooney dropped for this game. He's been poor all season. His first touch is abysmal and he's contributing absolutely nothing to the team as of now. He's not even looking like scoring. I thought it was a bit harsh Hernandez was put back on the bench after the Norwhich game, I don't think anyone did themselves justice in that game. Although he did play against Gala so that might have had something to do with it.

He's already shown to be far more dangerous than Rooney ever has this season. It's time Rooney spent some time on the bench

    I'd like to see

    De Gea
    Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra
Valencia (if fit) Carrick Ando Young (Even worse than Rooney but lack of options)
    van Persie Hernandez
