Adel wouldn't be that dumb would he either? Wasting away in the United reserves....till his 5 minutes of fame in a meaningless Champions League match comes. He needs to play (and credit to Sparky he did show him that). He would be better off going to Everton or Liverpool he would get in the team there...or maybe playing his socks of for the rest of the season and hope for a big club move to Paris or that Russian club that Samba plays for
Different dynamic for Adel now. He was a small fish in a big pond at Spurs. Now he has star billing, and is needed (if he can make the 90 minutes of effort and work that 'Arry will be expecting). Non story in my opinion. Maybe Adel's "advisors" starting things early again with some rumours! Doubt 'Arry is worrying about it.
It’s that time of year again. SSN and newspapers have nothing better to do now than speculate over transfers in the coming January market. Considering the precarious situation that we are in and the fact that we have wealthy owners, I think it’s fair to say that we will be linked with every player who has a heartbeat. History has thought us that 99% of what we will read in the coming days and weeks is rubbish and just pure speculation.
Dam, wish I could be on such high wages and still find a way to be depressed! Man up and grow some balls!
I duon't know if there is any substance in this, but I wouldn't be surprised if Man U try and buy Adel. I hope he don't go, but if he wants to he probably will, but we better be selling him only for close to 3 times the £ 12 million quoted here.
I don't think he's a Man U type of player however once they come in (if they did) then I can't see many players turning a chance like that down. He's still too selfish to be a Nani / Anderson type of player although he is maturing of late. I thoiught he did well at OT actually
Hope he stays BUT, if he's head is not with us .......... be gone. We are in a scrap and we need ONLY genuine 'QPR thinking' players in action. It is at this time in a scrap that the 'show-ponies' take off and the real 'fair dinkum' players stay ............ and fight for the club. I think there may be one or two lacking any backbone, that will move on. Harry will pick it ............ make no mistake!
Ferguson went for Cantona who was hardly performing brilliantly at Leeds at the time. He can handle the 'maverick' and can see things in players. This story is also in the Sun, which probably lessens its accuracy. But one more source and triangulation is achieved, and this moves from idle speculation to written in stone.
In all of the 7 games he started for them that year (which was actually the season before). Wilkinson was on the radio last night talking about it. Cantona asked to leave but there were no bids at all and they bit off SAFs hand when he sniffed around. Irritating things, facts.
Totally agree as proved by the substitution Thought T was ordinary TBH but Mbia seemed to have more influence.
