    A Combined North East XI.

If you could pick a team to represent the North East, what would it be?

At least one player from Sunderland or Boro has to be included.

Guess it's too hard to find a player from Sunderland or Boro then.

Yes, Stokoe showed more emotion than anybody. Was pleased for him.

Not bad Tesh Tesh, wouldn't put Krul and Mig together though, Tims a much more stand out keeper in my eyes. Sess is worth a place in it though.

based on form that is, I think a lot of your players are underperforming.

Larsson on set-piece duty instantly would improve our team. Think Cabaye has been shocking apart from his goal this year, so Leadbitter comes in to make fairly tenacious, hard working midfield trio, with flair on the wings and Ba up top. Sunderland's defensive record has been ok this year (better than us), so that has to be respected. Krul out because he's pissing me off.

Nice to see some pretty evenly balanced teams.

Some our SAFC players could not do it at Hartlepool never mind a top northern team after that garbage tonight.

To be honest I thought Sunderland were alright. A bit defensive, but you got into good shape when you had it for a while. Mclean put in some good balls, Johnson put in a lovely one for Fletcher, thought Rose was magnificent again. Johnson's form is poor at present, but he's a good player. Sess is getting back to form, Mig is a sensational keeper... You have positives so keep your chin up <ok>

I know you lads are upset at the season so far, but I think you were collectively a bit harsh on your players too early this evening.
