I actually could see a bit or rotation myself. Not too much but 3 games in 8 days could mean slight rotation. I would play Bennett for Snodgrass and possibly give Howson a game for Wes. Just to keep the momentum and not get too many tired legs in the starting 11.
I shall be making the trip to St Marys. Live in Pompey, so hope we put one over the "scummers" But last time i was at St Marys we lost in a penalty shootout in the Johnsons Paint trophey, was a really exciting game, and hope for more of that, but with the right result this time. Best of luck to you guys, but I can see this one being a score draw personally, and i would take a point before the game. Look out for me Wednesday, the only Canary singing 'build a bonfire' ha
Watched the match and Saints did well, but against a shambles of a defence for Newcastle and very little going forward either, though they missed Ben Arfa. Saints can score goals, but they also concede them (30 so far) so it should be interesting. City can win if they carry on like the second half against Everton and the whole match against Man Utd, but I reckon another 1-1 draw is favourite. OTBC!
nothing yet on the extent of the injury. The last time Mark Bunn played, against spurs in the cup, he did very well
Lambert may be a doubt for us. You are right about conceding goals but we have improved only three conceded in our last four games! Should be an open game. Going for another 2 - 0!
well lamballana, we've only conceeded once in the last four. 0-0 then? does anybody know if Michael Turner has a chance to return? Or is Ryan Bennett likely to play again?
that's a shame re turner, he was starting to gel in the team. Rbennett will be taken under seb bassong's wing and should be an able deputy!
Lawro in not predicting a positive norwich result shocker http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20486485 What's wrong with our attacking options!
Lawro - what a WUM - he tries this same ploy every week thinking we'll fall for it. Its like General Melchet in BlackAdder.
should be interesting as you play with two good widemen and Clyne our right back has probably been our best player this season and our left back Shaw is a 17 yearold that has been brilliant in the 3 games he has played in, but Snodgrass should prove a sterner test
Some Norwich fans may think different, but I've not been majorly impressed with Snodgrass this season, seems way to predictable to be able to beat defenders sometimes and his delivery has been disappointing at times. He has had a few bright moments, but think Elliott Bennett deserves the nod ahead of him.
He has his moments, both good and not so good, but gets in to the box a little more than Bennett though. At times he has been our only serious goal threat but having said that I would prefer to see Bennett on the pitch. If only there was a way to accommodate both of them along with Wes, Pilks, Tettey and BJ. That's the problem, they are all good players but the formation will always mean one misses out at the start.
. I'm sure I speak for the majority of Canaries fans in saying that - "we have no worries that Mark Bunn is a very good goalkeeper". We do have the England goalkeeping coach on our staff!! A few words from our manager - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...mark_bunn_to_step_up_at_southampton_1_1711249
Yeah, Bunn was excellent against Spurs in the cup, from what I've seen, he made some pretty good saves, including a penalty. I don't think he had a chance with their goal either.
