In order to cheer me up I am currently watching the Man Utd 5-0 in 1996...one thing gets me tho...Peter Beardsley, in my opinion the best player ever to put on a B & W shirt, ran the entire show at the age of 35...The question is, in this current run of bad form we surely need men and not bairns?

They showed that video on the coach to the game, could never get tired of seeing it.

Albert's goal was a bit special too.

I agree we do need some experienced heads, not necessarily older, just more Premier League experience.

City have Barry, Tevez, Nasri (last season they had Hargreaves and Viera too)
Man Utd have Ferdinand and Scholes
    Chelsea have Terry and Lampard.

We just lack that composure that experience brings.

I really can't see Mike Williamson lobbing the keeper in an Albert style.....pity is he thinks he can.

Passing to a team mate would be an improvement. Once he's figured that out we could then maybe move him on to something more technical, only maybe though <ok>

I've cracked it, we bring Shearer back!
Clinical and a chance to increase those 260 goals in the EPL + the chance to play in the Europa League. :p

But back to Williamson... Colo's back for Stoke!!

My theory is our better players are in the huff. Tiote for not being allowed to move in the summer and Cisse and Ba trying to be the main man instead of one complimenting the other. Surely Ba would rather be a supporting man for Cisse and watching him score every week as long as we were top 6 and winning every other week than battling for the same balls, being completely ineffective and struggling against relegation.

I only remember one player going in the huff under Keegan and that was when Clarkie kicked a water bottle when he was subbed.

I am placing a bet on Colo being sent off or injured tomorrow night. I reckon I'll only get odds of 1/8 but its a banker. If he continues on his current trend he'll play 14-15 games this season. We need 2 centre halfs in January, **** the full backs.

I thought Clark's reaction wasn't that bad and looked more like frustration at being with drawn rather than a direct attack at Keegan's decision....misplaced passion for the cause in my opinion. If our senior pro's are throwing their toys out of the pram about being denied a transfer or the role in which they are played, may i kindly ask them to to look at the bottom line of their pay packet and subsequently shut the hell up and contribute to the TEAM not their individual glory!!!

In my opinion we need to throw some of our fringe players (Ranger, Xisco, Abied, Amalfitano, etc) a starting spot over the next 2 weeks, to keep the players fresh with the xmas fixtures coming up.
