Afternoon all, weird, i thought i got here yesterday, apparently not! The days are a bit odd at the mo...but thankfully things are settling back on an even keel for the time being...need an early night tonight though, i'm exhausted and have a drive to Sheffield tomorrow ;) Great thing is, apart from the lovely Dan coming with me, my son at Leeds Uni has decided to meet me there, i'm sooo excited to see him :)

H - Sorry, I am not going to Sheff W now. I am a bit under the weather with a cold and my mate who I was going with is a bit ill as well, so we decided to stay in the warm. Best way I know to get there is go past Sheff on the M1 to J35A and then follow the A616 and then A61 back into Sheff. Just before you get to where the ground is there is a pub on the left (I think is it called The Railway - it's a bit grotty, but a proper football pub) and you can park down the road on the left next to the pub. Good thing it's quick to get out and you don't have to go through Sheff to get home. Well fed up as Sheff Weds is one of my fav away games...

Beginning to look as if I might make the Forest game. ;)

The seating plan is looking as if it could be quite a crowd, so should I book in the Rookery or the Rous? Vic Rd not available.

OFH, just bought the tickets for pie and I and we're in the Rookery, as near to H as we could get 2 together which is 2 rows back and about 15 along. I've also got our tickets for Brighton.

Morning all, lots of crashing about outside this morning. When I went out to see what was going on found that the commune handyman was on his drain cleaning round. Each year he comes and lifts the grills and cleans out the mud that gets washed down them. With the regular ditching that goes on we tend to avoid ice on the roads when it gets cold. Once upon a time farm labourers in England used to know that ditching was a regular winter job, but things have changed with the men being replaced by machines. Quite a few of the flooded fields in Dorset would have been better if the ditches had been cleared of the hedge cuttings which are just left behind after the cutter had been round.

Morning all, well I have had the lergy all weekend and decided to stay away from work yesterday as I didn't want to spread the lergy So after another day off I got up this morning feeling a bit better Then proceeded to go to work but by the time I got there I felt worse<yikes> a work colleague asked the old caring question ' what the F*** are you doing here looking like that!!!' He said go home, so I have wasted the morning getting up at 0610 getting to work for 0750 and leaving again by 0830 So now I am back at home, feeling sorry for myself hopefully I will feel better as the day goes on;)

Thanks for the thoughts, still not feeling 100% so I will see what I feel like in the morning before deciding to make the effort to drive down to Bristol!

Hopefully our game will go ahead with no problems due to the inclement weather that is going round at the moment;)

Judging by the comments on Twitter, it may go ahead without the presence of 'Orns fans - they're all stuck in traffic on the M1.:(
