All I could think of when Kimi was making mistakes and going on excursions was that he was trying to sabotage his 3rd place in the WDC so he didn't have to go to the prize giving. I bet he was well pissed off when he heard Lewis crashed out. I'll be doing my season review of Kimi in his comeback year in the next day or two.

I've read on Autosport that Seb now holds the joint record for most completed on track overtakes in a season with Lauda 1984 and Schumacher 2003 (60). Who says he cant hack it in the field
I've just thought of something. Fernando Alonso got hit off in Belgium and Japan, both times by a Lotus driver, costing him the championship. Lotus is the old Renault team, where Fernando made his name. Ergo, Renault cost Alonso his 3rd title. Spooky.
Grosjean is also Alonso's former teammate at Renault and did a couple of big things this year that cost Alonso the title. He took him out in Spa, caused that collision in Monaco that allowed Vettel to cut the first corner, and probably more indirect things. Very spooky.
I think it was more of an unknown quantity rather than him not being able to hack it. I think that has been put to bed for some time now.
