I wish we'd spray the ball around, but for some reason we don't have the players to do that.

More often than not our first touch is poor, crossing dreadful and set pieces.....

But after all of our concerns, we are above Sunderland still.

We haven't played well, so soon we will be back.

I'm keeping the faith!

 

I would turn to the internet, log-on to a football forum and utilise the ideas of ordinary fans on a thread like this one!

 

Well, why he hasn't done this already bewilders me.

It's clearly full of Football Managing experts. (Like myself).

 

Have I told you about my achievements on the latest football manager game? Darlington finally have a need for their fantastic stadium. The Reynolds Arena is rocking! (I prefer its proper name as I don't think its right to change stadium names )

 

I'm currently doing okay on my season, need to get used to all the new functions!

Well maybe you should have a word with Mike Ashley and co?

 

I think in Darlingtons case it was pretty appropriate to change the name. George Reynolds was/is a grade A ****.

As for Pardew he's got the entire season for me, if we get relegated then I'll question him otherwise he's alright. Was always going to be tricky balancing europe and the league and we're not coping. A paper-thin squad hass been brutally exposed but I suspect next season we wont have to worry about that particular problem and will be in the top half again - look at Everton in the first few years of Moyes. I expect a few years of yo-yoing in the league, we're not investing enough to expect to finish top half every year and challenge for things. I think peoples expectations need to be kept in check.

 

I wouldn't have a problem with this if:

A) Pardew didn't celebrate like we'd won the league just because we sold nobody in the summer.

And B) If during all of pre season and the first 5/6 games Pardew didn't bang on about challenging the top 4.

He knew we had a thin squad, so why raise the bar and say we're aiming for champions league? It's just making a rod for his own back.

 

Seems fair, but how long will the fans allow these dire performances continue.
I just hope this Yo-yoing you speak of isn't bouncing up and down from the championship.

We need more strength and January is approaching, we may have to pay over the top for certain players.

But if Simpson isn't signing, then Debauchy in.

CB i'm not really sure, other than Douglas but was that just paper talk...

Maybe grab Remy as well....
