Whos football did you prefer?.. When bruce had his best side, it made me proud to watch sunderland.. Chelsea away springs to mind. We played good football and used to go forward and attack teams. Bruce built a good side and made some great signings.. Bent, Gyan, Sess, Mig, Catts, Oshea, Welbeck... I think he was unlucky to lose his side, and was driven out by the fans. Since, MON has taken our football downhill dramatically, and the team hasnt got much better despite 2 transfer windows and nearly 30million spent. Now this isnt a get MON out post.. Its just to say, what has MON done so far, has he taken us further? Is his football better? 2 wins in 20 for oneil, yet to beat 11 men this season, and the type of football that is putting people to sleep. Lets hope he can turn things around.

Yes im a mag wum who has been supporting sunderland since i was born.... Whats wrong with being honest about performances and results? Im not wanting MON out, im just giving the facts and asking a question.. Being a realist doesnt make you a wum.
you can say what you want its only words, the truth is all i ever heard from you is negativity, if you are a Sunderland supporter stop going, the lads will probably do better without you, on the other hand i suspect strongly that you are a newcastle supporter with a grudge.

Bruceys downfall was the fact he loaned in so many players. You were not a stable club personnel wise and that was always going to prevent you from ever moving into the higher echelons of the league. In reality, what MO'N had to contend with initially was dross (bar a few players) and it was going to take more than a few transfer windows to rectify it. You cannot disagree that Fletcher and AJ are good signings. Played alongside players like Sess, O'Shea, Mig and Catts (he is good and I am prepared to admit it) you will do better. That said, Brucey made some top signings whilst in charge that had more of a wow factor MO'N's tactics seem odd (a bit like Pardews with us). However I suspect the one man up front thing has something to do with the fact he rates Fletcher only. His defensive nature has always been a part of his game and he has his favourites that he likes to pick (Colback) however he will improve your side. All you need is patience. Brucey has the tactical knowledge of a spunk donkey. In short, an ideal situation is to have Brucey bring in the players and allow MO'N to do the tactics. Would either wish to work like that? Probably not. It would have been good though. I do think the OP is a WUM and quite why I responded so candidly I don't know however I'd like to think this serves as a wake up call to those wanting to sack MO'N. Who would you get that is better, realistically?
Probably one of the fail merchants who are sent on their way with their arses smacked. So comes back with alter egos to try again.
Can i just say.. Every game ive been too, no matter what manager, ive never booed, ive only cheered on the players. Yes maybe ive been negative on this forum.. but what is there to get exited about at the moment?.. We're losing which i can accept, we are sunderland, there has been worse times.. its the way we are playing that worries me.. The inability to string a few passes together, the inability to create chances.. Im not here to wind people up, im just concerned.

Good post, agree with a lot that you said. Yes thats the problem, who else could we get in? i couldnt tell you, i think MON needs the rest of the season, and judge him at the end.
