As someone who's personally suffered at the hands of liquidated companies, I did feel aggrieved, of that there is no doubt. Would you say that the oldco being liquidated amounted to cheating in the sporting sense?
I've never said they were, but they had no intention of ever paying the full amount owed. If It was me who was getting the Joan Collins special off Rangers of course I would have felt cheated.

Ask the the old Shareholders at Rangers FC if they feel cheated. Ask the small business who lost out, if they feel cheated but don't ask me as I never lost money. Why did Rangers get put into administration? Was it: a) A conspiracy involving Peter Lawwell, the BheeBC, Neil Lennon and the Catholic church? or b) Because they failed to pay tax and national insurance, thereby cheating the British public out of millions?
Did all those other clubs intentionally refuse to pay tax and NI and use the money to keep the club afloat, like Rangers did? If so, then yes they are cheats.
