Rubber i did say compareable league that means we play in the premier league and they play in la ligue or is that not the case then and arent they similar leagues. maybe i am wrong. Nowhere did i compare us to barcelona just the leagues we play in.

Wouldn't he be on ridiculous wages at Barca? I can see them paying towards his wages, but the gulf between what he'd be on and what we'd happily contribute would be immense. I know Barcelona would be happy to do Laudrup a favour, but when it's in the region of 100k a week deficit, I think it's pie in the sky

Villa is arguably the best spanish striker ever so of cause on paper it's sounds insane that he would play for Swansea but still it's guaranteed game time for 6 months. Hard to find a better team in Europe with a style that match the profile who could guarantee him maximum game time in the second half of the season.
teams like barca have to pay his wages reguardless and its us that would be doing them a favor and not the other way around..If bacca agrees to let their player get game time in a high profile league then wages wont come into it. they will pay his wages and should pay usfor the privilage of giving him game time...

Rubber, i think most were happy when Laudrup got the job, no matter what happens this season(im not one to assume anything in this league,its going to be tough again this year) i dont think we could have found anyone better,especially with the players he has brought in, players who only came because its Michael Laudrup,no other manager could have brought those signings to Swansea- simples
