Thats the terrace whispers flying around at the moment! I saw an article on planetswans too, surely this is bollocks though right?

So the story goes,Barca want him on Loan to Get match fit ess and our style of football with laudrup puts us in the mix for one of the greatest players out There right now, i can see Barca being help ul to laudrup,if he is a success in the prem league he Will surely be a future option for coach over There. It could be a great political move by Barca with one eye on the future of their own club, and could well grease the wheels in persueding laudrup to have a go at the job in a few years time.

He is one of the biggest bacra legends and ticks all the boxes, a little sweetner to help him in his prem education could be good for everyone!

As rumours go its one of the best!

Wasn't aware that Villa has been injured since coming back from his leg break or needs fitness. Saw him play and score at Getafe in the middle of Sep and he was fine. They might have some up and coming B players they might like to get sharpened up but I doubt they would ship Villa here for even a short spell. He is an integral part of their squad and would work with him there .... Surely.

Well Mr Laudrup did say we would get stronger as the season progressed , but that would be unbelieveable <party> (nice to dream though)

A short term loan would make sense in that it would get him fit and match tuned; and Barca know he would get games with us. I doubt it will happen but it's a nice thought.

I dont see them risking such an asset myself but football is a funny old game!

    Edgar davids at barton
    Ravanelli at boro
    Laudrup at swansea

    Who would have thought eh?

I supose There is more chance of seeing Elvis than us having him on Loan...<whistle>

Its no where near as bad as drogba playing for Cardiff. At least he would be going to a comparable league. However it has to be a massive pile of nothing.

Rubber you can dream of the Premier league and we can dream of signing world class players even if on loan. They are both about equally attainable.
in case i didnt make myself clear. i dont believe but we can all dream.

I am cetainly not putting them in the same bracket but we are a damn sight closer to them than your club can dream of. What i am saying is if they wanted to ship him somewhere to get fit then it is not beyond the realms of impossibility to send him to the premier league. i agree there is no truth in it. but f*ck mine your lot are talking about drogba. that is even further away.

Show me where i compared us with Barcelona. what i compared was the leagues.

The franchise were going to have cheeky punt on Beckham , that would have pleased Victoria , imagine having to choose a house in LA or Ely

Remind me . how did Fowler and Hasselbank do for you , still paying them off I hear.

What is bardiff's obsession with being called capitol .is it to try and make you feel superior ? I can't imagine the likes Charlton bigging their club up at the likes of Man Utd or City because they live in London , bearing in mind that you survive in aberdare I wouldn't be too quick to mock Wales first & only Premeir league club.

    Now jog off bin dipper

Both Barca and Real often loan out players to middle clubs and with the spanish armada already established in Swansea, the style of play and ML as manager I could see it happen. IF he were to be loaned out for 6 months to get maximum game time Swansea would be a good choice.

As we are a good middle of the table premiership club and on the up then there is no reason why Sir mark cant persuade these type of players to come on loan to the swans,,,,,A deal can always be worked out to get a high profile player game time and in the best league in the world rather than play in their own reserve leagues, I would not dismiss any player coming on loan for a while if the clubs can agree and you wont get anyone better than swansea city for playing the continental way........
