Every good result seems like not such a big deal when your a good team, playing well. Whenever I hear the reactions of the fans of big clubs celebrating a goal, they seem half hearted. If you're up against a side like Wigan or Fulham at home, you expect a win, and when you score a goal, you don't react that much. The crowd make half hearted reactions when they react to a goal, and I'll admit that when we were playing well last season, I didn't scream with joy at most of the of goals scored.

But now we're doing poorly, I feel like the same bloke I was back when we first got promoted. Humble and treating every goal as a gift from a god.

I really don't know where we are heading, all I know is that I'll stick by Newcastle regardless of what league we are in.

The vodka will forever numb the pain of our **** form, and I will forever support the Toon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone have a ****ing drink, and keep backing the lads.

Well said Tash, a good thoughtful analysis.
Winning is not a God given right and success can and does lead to complacency, l know that for a fact as my other half is a die hard ManU supporter.
Don't get me wrong l would love it, just love it, if we won every single match week in and week out, but we won't.
We enjoyed a good helping of success last season and had much to be pleased about, did we get a little complacent? Maybe, did we expect to pick up where we left off, yes and maybe more.....but
Are we getting a rude awakening, to some extent, but when that little bit of success comes back and it will, we as you rightly say Tash, will be all the more grateful for it.
There is nothing like a large serving of reality with a side order of Humble Pie to make you thankful for small mercies and put things firmly back into perspective.
As you rightly say Tash, l don't know where we are heading either to be honest, but like yourself wherever it is l for one will be going too. HTL

By the way, I saw 5Goals at the game yesterday and he was asking how Tesh Tesh was!

I told him he was the same old Tesh Tesh, always out of his skull with all the Voddy he was drinking.

Its both humbled and scared me. Scared me because I can see how poor we are at the moment and how a relegation battle has become a possible prospect. Not just us, but that rowdy bunch down the road, I hope it doesn't turn into the Marty and Pardy relegation party!

I think we're a warning to West Brom. On paper, I'd say our players were rated as better, and keeping up such a good run is a difficult. So my message to Baggies fans would be to enjoy the crap out of this season, and not start expecting the same year on year.

My message to our fans, just try and relax a little bit about Pardew. I for one don't want to see the scenes at Stamford Bridge yesterday at our place anytime soon!

<laugh> True, I was thankful for the ****ty stream preventing me from the terrors of the full-94 minute glorious technicolour performance! But I can safely say there will we much worse away days for you in the future, and much brighter ones. You can only live to the truest heights when you've experienced the most gutting lows!

I console myself at night by thinking those modern Man Utd, Chelsea, Man Citeh fans can't even imagine how happy we'd be if we had a sniff of success! And porn... Lot's and lots of porn...

It has changed my whole drinking ethos. Great at the minute, nowt seems to bother you <laugh> Angostura 1919 is well worth a try but any of the decent Carribean ones are good. I'm a pirate. I'm my own captain.

A glass of the Captain or Lambs with a drop of dry ginger can do you the world of good.
