Just had a look on the chelsea board out of interest about what they're saying about rafa. Was pleasantly surprised that whilst they may not be happy with the appointment they're going to get behind him.Although one supporter Beale is truly a tool with all his venom.

They seem to have come round to the idea but I dont see it being a long term appointment.

On the beeb there, a fair point ismade, for all their sheite talk absolutely no one has the balls to tell RA, no anti RA signs. Yet they turn on the man he signed.

Pathetic cowards afraid if RA pulls out we all know that would be the end of them

Think that is the problem. They are really angry at RA. They already knew he didn't give a stuff what they, the little people thought; its their job just to turn up & pay the money. But this shows the world how little their opinion counts.

Getting rid of RDM they could have stomached (just the usual) but I'm going to be kind to them. Its all well & good us saying they should forget the snide comments & ridicule Rafa dished out at Chelsea while our manager. We can quote logic & say this guy has won x,y & z you're mad to not want him for stuff said at a previous post.

Well try this on for size: our Brendan gets sacked at the end of the year and we're told by FSG Fergie is coming in to take over (I know its ridiculous for various reasons but you can see where I'm going). Logic would be to quote how many championships he's won. That he will be fiercely driven etc etc.

But tell me? How many LFC fans could stomach that move?

The only difference is we would have balls to call for the owners heads & not Fergies.

Trophies keep them quiet. If they dry up you may hear more RA out than you do now.

Add to this the fact that it certainly seems like Rafa was already lined up before RDM got sacked. That won't help Rafas cause and in fairness if I was a chav fan I'd have serious issues with the whole business. The difference is they have been quite happy to have sold the soul of the club for the dirty oil money so I have no sympathy. Romans gifted them the glory now he gets to do what the hell he wants. They've had years of unearned glory so now they have to dance to his tune like it or not.

Frank, Fergie is not a fair comparison, Jose is jes?

And no I wouldn't mind jose, Fergie, never because he's Fergie, I don't think he could get this team winning the PL tbh anyway.

Remember how many on here got pissed about us not having a new manager sooner after Kenny was let go? can't have things both ways but I agree with you that it all happened quite fast and just didn't feel right in term of the way they went about the sacking and what was actually going on behind the scenes.

Well let's hope FSG don't bring him in to "get the most" out of our ridiculously expensive flop of a striker <laugh>

The most important thing for Rafa this weekend re Torres was NOT to sub him.

He missed the opportunity for the greatest wind-up ever; he could have substituted Torres (9) for Romeu (6) a minute into the second half (to avoid being sacked at half time) and then spent 45 minutes chanting "F*** Off Chelsea FC, You Ain't Got No History".

Id be happy with Fergie.....He would have to renounce all things United though and sit through an exocism procedure from every major and minor religion in the world. Then kiss the shoe of every Lvierpool supporter in the world. Then take a spanking off Jan Molby, (again.) And finally have reconstructive plastic surgery to make him look like Dennis the menace.....But if he did all that Id tolerate him

I am sure most Liverpool fans wouldn't mind Mourhino but would he want to come if the job was offered to him? As for Fergie, I would think he would get some resistance but I would speculate that he would get better results from your squad than the current manager. I think he would definintely get you into the champions league. Over the years he has shown that even when he did not have the greatest players (he has had his fair share of duds!) he was able to win matches. I bet your owners would not mind appointing him if a slightly younger Fergie was available <ok>

It took him 7 years to win the league.

Not sure anyone will be granted that much time ever again
