1) Agreed. Dont know what all the fuss is about actually. Found it funny DM wound so many people up over scoring a good goal. 2) Play the right team against Burnley would have helped. imo.
From this weeks Amber Nectar 'ten things' - Dean Marney, eh…what was that all about? Gently applauded before kick-off, mildly sledged during the game and nothing more – so where did outpouring of rage come from? Disliking any of the Wembley heroes feels gravely wrong, but there’s a strong temptation to make an exception for a player whose career highlight came in black and amber and whose underachievement was tolerated by a Tiger Nation that generally appreciated his workrate. If our previous goodwill/ambivalence is now replaced by disdain, the blame lies solely with Marney’s peculiarly graceless behaviour. You made yourself look a very small man, Dean.
"Probably, looking back, I regret that a little bit. I was getting some stick, so I suppose it was just a reaction. It’s just one of those things." Bit late now Dean.
Well he's lost my respect. He should have just stuck to his guns and said "the majority of them are a bunch of ungrateful ****s".
Getting some stick? Not from where I was sitting, forgot he was on the pitch until he mishit that shot!
