Thinly veiled warning to Adel from Harry. No time for players who lose the ball and then throw their hands in the air. He also said that Adel was a match-winner and wants to get the best out of him. Pretty positive interview really and he seems up for the challenge.
Great stuff, Harry ............. no crap, just a straight shooter who is genuinely going to put as much effort in as he is asking of the team. All money on Ryan Nelson to be our Captain.
Interesting interview. Great owners and he already has his first team picked for tomorrow night. Plenty of passion shown for the job at hand. Expecting players to work hard, or they'll be watching matches from the sideline. Now... on to walk the talk...
I thought it was an excellent press conference. Harry really looked up for the job. He mentioned he's not in it for the money and i believe him. He talked about the need to get the best out of the players - i really think that MH lost the team and therefore the ooomph behnd the team was gone. Harry is the perfect manager to get this back. Feeling really confident now that we're going up the table - starting tomorrow night!!! Honestly guys, i think this is the start of something special. Mid table here we come!!!!
He really installed a lot of confidence in me with that press conference, the players will surely up their game tomorrow
He wants 11 players prepared to do the hard work....lose the ball, run and get in back....it's stuff you learn at school........love it Harry! Goodbye bosingwa.
Maybe in a bit too easily pleased but that conference has really got me buzzin'. He ain't my favourite choice but I gotta say the man speaks with a lot of passion. Liked the way he said QPR is HIS club now. Roll on the future
Hoping it will be on the archives like the London call ins. Read sportsday breaking news on the bbc website. Summarises the main bits. Definitely worth a read, everything he says hits the right note. No bulls*** from Harry. Makes MH look like an amateur.
According to the Times today, Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond helped Harry take training yesterday. There is actually a photo showing Joe, Harry and QPR players so it is FACT, rather than lazy journalism.
Apparently he said it's the toughest job of his career. Well he got relegated with us and had 11 points at this stage so...
huh! déja vu... QPR FC ‏@OfficialQPR Harry: 'I'm in it for the long-term. I want to build a successful side so we're not in this position again.' #QPR just hope not
No disrespect, but the quality of players he has at his disposal this season is quite a step up from what he had at Southampton. Still an incredibly difficult job though and I think it will take a miracle to keep us up.
Let's assume that is true. That means either Steve Wigley was a better manager than Mark Hughes or the general standard of the premier league is higher. I think the latter is more likely. edit: i've taken no account of relative fixtures. too much work.
