With all the talk of getting shot of Brucie, would you have Mancini?

Done a good job for them lot, got Yaya Toure playing in a position I have never seen him play in before his move to Eastlands and he has been a revolation. I have watched a canny bit of Man City this season and I like the way he sets them up 2 full backs who get up and down the pitch with two holding midfielders pretty much saying to the 4 players further up the pitch you lot do what you want.

I would, not saying he would come I am sure a couple of the big Italian sides would be after him but offer him a big contract and the money to build his own team then who knows, a few things would have to happen first for there be the slightest chance anyway but with Brucie on about asking for a big cash injection I would not be disapointed if Ellis and Quinny decides it would be better to give a new man the money to take over from what Brucie has done so far and take us further.

I think you would be better off with a different manager to spend their money but Mancini is an unrealistic target for you I reckon.

Mancini applied for the job before Bruce got it and we declined to interview.

This was quite common knowledge, Mancini was desperate to manage in England, and i personally think he's a very good gaffer.

I'm inclined to agree he'd be an unrealistic target now anyway.

he's hardly set the world on fire at city, with the biggest of budgets,

buys the likes of toure who is apparently on 200k a week.

not sure how he would cope working with a much smaller scale....

like bb says, maybe we could have had him before, but limited chance now, but if bruce goes and he was up for it. yeah why not...

I personally think that was a bad move by the club and Quinny after his record managing in Italy unless it came down to him asking for to much.

I don't think Brucie will go but if he does I have heard people say we need to go foreign as there is no good options from our home shores but I don't think Quinny would do that and apoint another British manager

The only british managers i personally would be interested in would be Moyes or Coyle.

Realistically we ain't gonna get either of those 2, so it's stick with Bruce, or go overseas.

(Cue 1 million people polishing MON's turds..)

Mancini was bookies favourate at one point and his agent said hed love too come.

Whether or not hes the right man too lead our transitional period is another matter but i would certaily take him.

We could just get Mourinho :)

only 2 i would go for aswell. Dont think Coyle would leave after a year and we all know Everton would let Moyes go if we offered them good money.

Different slant on things. IF SAF won the double this year would he not bow out.

19th title, eclipsing liverpool and the CL, what a way to go leaving the way open for mourinho.
