Haven't had time to read all the contributions on this thread, but one thing does strike me, and apologies if it has been made already. The teams closest to us points wise at this stage of the season may not be the ones we have to pass at the end. 40 points will probably be enough to keep any team in this league come next May. So it really doesn't matter how many points we are behind 'safety' now. We don't have to watch the others, just ourselves. 36 more points that's the task. No point in concentrating on how well or how badly our 'peers' are doing. It won't matter in the end.
Maybe you should show a bit more passion, if you even know what it is. Can't stand people who are writing us off already........
Surely you can see the faults and deficiencies of our team also. Its not lack of passion, its called realism. Of course im hoping for survival and nothing has finally decided yet. Sadly 'arry is not a magician and cant change our players overnight. We have a chance but its a slim one and im not hoping too much. Im over the moon and very happy to be wrong if we can avoid the relegatIon that' for sure.
The truth of the matter is, no one really took to Sparky. He was never an R. Everyone loves Harry, he's a national institution, even those from other teams that don't like him love him. I can't wait for the Villa came. That's when the LR effect will kick in. We will not lose another game at HQ if we play our part. They don't like it up 'em. COYR'sssssss.
Agreed, just picking up the packet, like he's doing now, but its bigger & more buggered, but he don't care much, just as long as theres a car window & a sky camera, but you'll find that out soon enough. Luck be with you, or anti anton as they say here.
Wind your neck in mack.........When have I written us off? Oh yeah....I haven't. Try to stick to the facts if you could, there's a good chap.
I think you'll find that a huge amount of people were saying that Hughes should have gone weeks ago! Not too late, but nearly imo. I am positive about Harry and I think we'll play much better with him in charge. But I'm not going to ignore the fact that we need a small miracle to stay up from here. Win a couple of games and we'll still almost certainly be bottom. One things for sure though.........the ground will be really positive now and that could be a big factor imo.
not sure if it has been said but i would rather try and catch up the seven points off the bottom teams than i would the top
Just repeating what you said to me when I posted about accepting relegation, enjoying every game from now on and regarding staying up as a bonus. I only wrote that last week, and you dug me out about it. Everything in this thread you've started is about you virtually conceding defeat. This was my little joke back at you, lighten up a bit col, don't be so tense. A week in football is a very long time........
