Anyway, fantastic season all-round. Alonso, Vettel, and Hamilton are without doubt the three best drivers on the grid and I'm very glad that over the course of the season they've all had ample time to shine (even Vettel, at times)
Raikkonen 'I knew where I was going!' Imagine the argument if his engineering had tried to given him directions. Argument would have been worse than when the missus tries to map read!
"I went off at the last corner on lap 52 as I couldn't see well with my visor being dirty and fogged up," said Raikkonen, who finished in 10th position to become the only driver to have finished all races in 2012. "Where I went off you can get back on the track by going through the support race pitlane, but you have to go through a gate. "I know this as I did the same thing in 2001 and the gate was open that year. Somebody closed it this time. "Next year I'll make sure it's open again..."
That McLaren though is REALLY! fast, like RB6 fast. They had the downforce and the top speed yesterday to **** on pretty much anything, that car is a monster!
They've been the fastest overall for the season but rarely the best sadly It's all good and well being quick but if your car breaks down or if you duff up as a team it means nothing. Brazil was one of those rare weekend where they were the fastest and the best
I'd agree over the year the McLaren was the best car with the Red-Bull 2nd. (obviously it flipped around several times but overall.....) McLaren however were a long way behind being the best team to maximise the potential of the car. Behind Red-Bull, Ferrari and possibly even Lotus.
