Michael Schumacher in the points after being about 50 seconds behind the HRTs on the third lap. A nice way to go out. Jenson for being i think the only person to have an incident at some point.
Michael Schumacher, from being a 0, to shooting back like a boss after 4 pit-stops, some classy overtakes. Bringing the only points for the team, and letting Vettel passed, allowing his record to be challenged. Thankyou for being an inspiration. Massa for a great race. Hulk also. And Vettel, for a perfect drive.
Absolutely! Someone asked whether Caterham getting 10th meant Heikki kept his seat but it was Petrov who sealed it and it has been Petrov who has outdriven his more esteemed team mate this year. I've always really liked Heikki but I think it's Vitaly who deserves to keep his seat.
Champagne moments: Alonso double overtake which at the time put him a WDC winning position Button once again reading the conditions perfectly, he really does make the other drivers look like amateurs Hulkenburg taking the lead Vettel winning the championship Petrov passing a Marussia and taking 10th for Caterham
Champagne moment is the season being over so the last few weeks of inane Vettel/Alonso bashing will stop.
Sebastian mudda ****ing Vettel. Youngest triple world champion ever! The only driver in history to get his 1st, 2nd and 3rd title undefeated! 2012 Season!
At least it makes a change from Alonso Vs Hamilton With Schumacher gone thats a good 50% of conversations gone so Vettel needs to pick up the slack
Hard to pick any one moment so I'll just list a few drivers: Massa, Alonso, Vettel, Hulk, Schumi, Button and Petrov
Has to go to Vettel for securing his third straight title in a row. Alonso and Vettel really made a fight of this season.... so massive kudos to both. Hard to not see Vettel going on to take 4 in a row really.
Too many 'moments' to mention, although I should say that Kimi's exploration in search of ice cream made my day. However, I will restrict the Champagne for today's outstanding drivers (notwithstanding Hamilton's untimely exit)… Jenson Button (driver of the day without any doubt at all) Felipé Massa (best supporting drive I can remember, including those awful years of long ago) Sebastian Vettel (World Champion for the third successive time? Wow! What more can one say?)
