From manager elect of England to a Championship club. The Guardian charts the demise of Harry: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/nov/23/harry-redknapp-queens-park-rangers
It is a step down of sorts. But the bloke is 65 and has got a job in his native London. I would say its a good fit for him at this stage of his career / life.
The Pikey's are a major step down for any man or beast, lets hope they don't get promoted for 50 years or so.
What are you banging on about? You can't get promoted from the Premiership. Its the highest you can go. And what do you mean "Pikeys"? The only Pikeys around here are your big fat hairy gypsy wife and your knocked-up daughter lying in bed with you as you post this sh*te.
I don't know why District and Drogs allow your constant bitching about a team half your fans hadn't heard of 18 months ago. We beat you once over a year ago- it really is time to let it go.
Yes, like I was the one who started calling people "Pikeys". Have a read back over the thread and you'll see who said what. I was the first one to respond to the OP and do you think that post was reasonable or not?
The pikeys are odious, especially since they got hit for six at the Bridge. but to be fair, swords is a very reasonable poster
Cheers EC! I just never heard us referred to as Pikeys before. But then again, I'm not local - I'm Irish. I guess that makes me even more of a Pikey!!
Some Chelsea fans call Rangers the pikeys before. Maybe to do with the caravan site by the westway. We used to buy acid off them when we were at school
It might be a step down from Spurs but it certainly isn't a step down from England or potentially Ukraine. Managing any PL club IMO is better than managing a national side. If a national manager was that good they'd be managing at club level. Mourinho, Ferguson, Wenger, Guardiola and formely Clough, Michels, Paisley, Stein all made their names at club level. If Arry can keep QPR up (which will be difficult) it would be as good as anything he has on his CV to date.
