Same. I hope he gets them to third and gets fired (ideally him resigning but that won't happen), but he gets his reputation back and gets another big job as not one of our rivals. Chelsea get snubbed in the summer by Guardiola. I'm not convinced he will be as great as they seem to think. I reckon they might end up with Jose again.
Guardiola would just be AVB all over again. He'll need time to set in his ideas and build his own squad, whilst also getting familiar with English football and English life. I actually think Guardiola would be perfect for Arsenal. They are the only English club I can see him with.
Yeah, now you suggest it, he would be perfect for then. Attacking style a like Barca but with lesser players. Only a massive personality with proven quality can survive that. I think Rafa is, but I don't see their fans changing their minds. People will say a couple of wins will change things - but a couple of losses will change things back even quicker.
Abramovich wants Guardiola because of the Barca hype. But really he just carried on Frank Rijkaards work.
i don't think roman cares what the fans want, if he wants pep and peps willing to take the job, he's in if the fans like it or not!
