Don't argue boys, just make note, like that QPR fan who said we wouldn't score more than two goals... And then bide your time.
Haha! We are NOT like Koopeeahrrr- see my tag which is becoming more poignant by the day. Deluded bunch. Don't get me wrong, I rate your attacking prowess... But we've been looking very solid whenever Bassong is on the pitch. I really can't see you getting more than one goal unless we have a defensive shocker (which is possible). One goal could still be enough to win it for you. I just can't help but feel you've underrated us as well! We're not a bad side, yet all of you seem to think this is a nailed on win. As I said, of teams around us, I can only think of Blackburn and West Brom who beat us last year.
I know exactly how you are playing. I'd say the same thing if we were playing any of the other 18 teams in the league so don't take it personally. We are on fire at the moment we could have got 8 goals today with some luck and 4 or 5 against Swansea
Some fans may underestimate you, but you can be sure Adkins won't. It's going to be two very well-drilled sides on Wednesday and I think it'll be a fascinating game.
I'm not underestimating Norwich at all! Like I said, I think a draw is the most likely outcome. It really is too close to call for me, all I know is that I'm excited.
I agree. It'll be an interesting one, but as I said above, our games haven't been exciting recently, unfortunately!
Ok, but you were at home against United and Arsenal. You are away on Wednesday so those results aren't that relevant. As the home team and a team in form, we are the favorites to win on Wednesday. I'm not saying that we will win for sure but I will be going to the match confident of a Saints win. If we perform like we did today the chances are we will win.
Yeah, definitely fascinating. Two quite cerebral managers and Adkins has done a great job. Funnily though, in terms of underestimating other teams, I've found fans have a surprising effect if they expect a win, not just the team. Last year, we played Fulham at home and for no apparent reason our entire fan base seemed to think it would be a guaranteed three points. When it was clear Fulham were actually quite strong, the fans were shocking and for the first time in ages the atmosphere was terrible and the team felt it and played badly. We snatched a draw in the 90th minute, which was lucky. Here's hoping we're Fulham in this scenario (minus the last minute equaliser)!
