Formula 1 News ‏@Formula1_com #F1 Pat Fry tells Sky that Sebastian Vettel overtook Kamui Kobayashi under yellow and red flags (oil) therefore no penalty #fb
It has to be said, Kimi had a dire weekend. But him trying to find a way back on track was pretty funny. Also congrats to Seb. It's a shame to see so many bitter comments though. Can't say I'm surprised though.
There are always bitter people down to the core, I have met loads on here. You will get familiar with them as time goes on. Also Kimi, handled the car well going off track, using initiative.
According to the replay Vettle stayed behind Koby under the yellow/red, the next corner (I think) is green and Vettle stays behind. He starts his move out of the last corner starting is overtake under a new yellow light. Vettle passes 3 or 4 yellow lights whist completing the overtake.
I think he thought Massa was on his inside but Massa jinked to the outside quickly so Vettel had nowhere to go
Ferrari are happy that Seb did nothing wrong, time to drop it Seb did nothing wrong as it would of been investigated during the race.
Wow. I'm not gonna stir any **** up but Button finishing 2 points within Lewis... That's quite fortunate to say the least. Big test for Jenson next year though!
It's true, loads of people checking to see if they can grasp at anything after Vettel wins the WDC. I retract the term Hamelots to be fair. People should acknowledge how hard Vettel worked for the title, not wish for penalties.
great end to the season for Massa, drove really well today but obviously it wasn't his aim to win. It doesn't feel as though Vettel deserves to be three time world champion (in a row) but congratulations anyway. We're all set for next year now as well have the usual competitors of Button, Alonso and Vettel. Hamilton depending on Mercedes quality. If Webber and Massa can pick up where they've left off (well Massa anyway) then there's another two competitors and of course Perez could be there too. Even Raikkonen. Decent race, anti climatic end.
Not being funny but the (radio) would of told him it was a hazard, not a yellow. They don't just let them race blind...
It's true that Vettel worked for it this year, unlike last, but everyone worked for what they got and no one more than Alonso, IMO. I'd say Lewis too but he had to watch too much of the racing from the sidelines this season.
