Interesting to note the contrasts in attitude and confidence between the two sides. When we've been losing, we've fought until the whistle and got some late goals for our efforts. 5 minutes to go in normal time in this game, and Newcastle look like they want to go home.

Well that was certainly onside. Shame to take that away from Jay Rod.

Looked onside to me... We have had no luck with decisions today, from throw-ins to free-kicks to penalty appeals (one at least) and a disallowed goal...

Officials have been very poor today. We've gained from a couple of decisions but Newcastle have been given the greater share.

FT 2-0. A brilliant home win where it seems we've pretty much outplayed Newcastle. Can't wait to watch this game tonight on MOTD2. The perfect game.

It'll be said by many that it was down to Newcastle's poor performance, but we should have won 10-0. Bloody hell boys

You should thank me for this win, I made the decision yesterday to keep Ba in my fantasy team as well as keeping him as captain so invariably Newcastle were going to be rubbish <laugh>
