Pathetic stuff from Celtic tonight. We deserved to lose, as simple as that. Second to every ball, passing was ****ing ****e, created nothing, and a defensive shambles. Izaguirre had by far his worst game in a celtic, he was ****ing atrocious. Wilson was no better and the the least said about the muppets in central defence the better. Noone gets pass marks. The players have had a lot of praise and deservedly so but they were as poor as they've been all season just when they couldn't afford it. Their bottle was questioned and tbh, it was found wanting.
I couldnt watch the game , so difficult to comment , though I generally think lennon - perhaps through his relative inexperience - has a tendancy to tinker too much with the team............why bring in maloney ?
we need two goals so he takes off the club's top two goal scorers (who admittedly weren't playing too well like the rest of the team) to put on Murphy and McCourt (who have barely got a game between them all season). Utterly bizarre, you could see the reaction in the stands as soon as Hooper was coming off. Exactly ... ****in bottle merchants! It crashed big time (as it did against Motherwell when Celtic had the chance to add some real pressure to Rangers) For me, I don't see Ranger losing any more points - Smith and most of the players have been at this stage before and have the end of season grind it out mentality (if needed)
Aye, it looks like we've blown it. The defending yesterday was ****ing dreadful. Opposition centre backs left standing on their own in our penalty box at corners! What the **** was that all about? Can't see Rangers dropping any points so we'll only have ourselves to blame for throwing the title away.
Not much to say. I console myself with it now being Rangers' title to blow. They might not crash on the last day but how sweet it would be.
