That game was there for the taking. Yet again we are not decisive enough going forward. How many times did we run with the ball and not release it early enough. Sterling and Johnson ( in 2nd half) just kept running into 2 or 3 defenders and losing the ball.

BR again has no balls to take off underperforming players like Gerrard and Allen, always takes the fringe player off; Downing and Henderson.

Why he took Henderson off baffles me, he was our best midfielder! No wonder we lost grip of the game when he went.

  3. Guess a draw prevents an aftermath considering the pre-match arrogance by some of Swans fans <doh>

On the plus side, Suarez didn't get booked again so he will be available for the spuds game <ok>

Nicey nicey has to stop now, with Rodgers , they need there ar*e kicking, we have far superior players, but our decsion making is WRONG in every single situation, the players need to seriously wake up and get a grip, they cant even makin a simple 5 yd pass in the key moments, without makin a balls of it

Not happy but I suppose it's another step forward on an unbeaten run but we need to win more. So obvious that we need another striker, Sterling should have gone off today but we don't have anyone to replace him.

  6. This is how we are set up, Suarez, Sterling, Johnson, Assaidi, etc all like to run at goal with the ball, it is part of the reason I have been saying no to Daniel Sturridge, he is greedier than all the players we already have!

Rodgers always says the exact same thing in interviews. He says it just because he has to do the interview. Just because he says it it doesnt mean he means it.

What it does avoid is the press picking on or twisting his words.

Dont take Rodgers interviews seriously because they are meaningless.

I like the way he does it. It keeps the real facts private.

Fair result for an entertaining game, alot of decent football played but both sides
suffering from a lack of a cutting edge in front of goal.
Let's beat Spurs and take the 4pts from these two tough away games.

  12. I agree with taking Downing off but it should have been Suso coming on. Gerrard should have come off rather than Henderson <ok>

That was the worst defensive display iv seen from us in years. Constantly gave the ball to you and got caught in possession countless times. How you didn't score at least 3-4 today absolutely baffles me.

I thought Sterling was really poor in the 2nd half and I'm not just on about that pass to Suarez. Sterling seemed off the pace from the start to me.

I agree with the people backing Henderson, thought he did everything right today.

I thought his whole thought process was wrong.

Enrique was playing well further forward, so lets move him back to LB where he's less influential. Downing wasn't the best, but at least it let Enrique stay forward. Poor decision.

Hendo was our best player, why take him off? We lost control of the game when he went off. Poor decision.

Suso, a player with genuine creativity and eye for a quick pass who can link up with Suarez sitting on the bench but doesn't bring him on. Poor decision.

Joe Cole? He's had one half good game his entire Liverpool career (even that game was severely hot and cold, I don't get all the credit he's getting), why bring him on? Poor decision.

No changes until too late in the game when it was clear we were lacking that little bit extra in the final third. Poor decision.

Lot of blame on BR for this draw imo...and this is coming from a Rodgers fan

    Yeah I agree.

He might be trying to rest Suso giving our fixtures.

Gerrard is relying on his name as i've said for some time now.

  20. Hate to say I told you so but I did say that Thursday nights game was a one off against average opponents! I also said that his next two or three appearances will show whether he has turned the corner. He didn't do much today but he was only on the pitch for what, ten minutes? Bit harsh to completely slate him but it was more like the Cole we are used to <ok>
